The meeting featured an eight-part series on how and why to interpret prophecy. This series is being presented in Chuirches from Texas to Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
Entitled, "The Future of Mankind - Prophecy," it teaches how to interpret prophecy according to biblical rules and why we need to understand prophecy. Utilizing Video backgrounds, Dr. VanBuskirk guides the audience from the first prophecy of the Bible through to the book of the Revelation and instills in them the Bible's teachings on the rules of prophetic interpretation so that they may be able to correctly interpret the prophecies of the Bible for themselves- this is necessary because the Bible is two-thirds prophecy and cannot be understood unless one knows how to rightly divide the prophetic portions. In addition, the audience learns the proper place of Israel in prophecy as well as the proper place of the Church.
The series was extremely well received in Corpus by both members and visitors of Liberty Baptist Church.
