Fox dines on squirrel
In April, I heard this really loud ruccus right above my head, on my roof. I saw something fly past my window going down, a couple puffs of fur flying in the air. I got up to look, but could see nothing. I went and looked in my back yard to find my (wild) pet fox with his latest catch.

Per chance, he brought it right up to my window, so I could get some nice shots

He started a series of many quick bites. At first I wondered why he would bite it so many times. Realizing that a predator would prefer its prey totally dead before eating it - I understood the precaution of 'extra' bites.

This may be the best shot I've gotten of the fox

Too many pictures for you?

A month later, I saw him swallowing the last of another squirrel. Now there are only about 87 squirrels that come by the house.
