In 96 or 97, from some mountain in Washington : Monte Christo. This is looking towards the south from Mt Daniel to Mt Rainier.

Looking north from Monte Christo is Sloan Mtn.

Alaska, 1993. The Wrangle Mountains. These were the massive glaciers coming off the 12-16 thousand foot summits near Mt Drum and Blackburn. This trip was from the town of McCarthy.

The clear glacier on the left is nearly a mile wide. We crossed that one. The one on the right is nearly two miles wide. It is much more covered in rocks and is streaked with clear and rocky ridges. Together they are almost three. These are the bottoms of the glaciers in the previous photo.
