On these pages, I have pictures of Troy throughout his life. Troy liked to do a lot of things. He was an honor roll student with perfect attendance that was in Cub Scouts. He was always busy and had lots of friends.
Troy in his first year of life...probably the only time in his whole life that he was 'cheeky'.
Troy at about 1 year of age

Troy and Tammy boxing at the Sports Dome at Fort Hood Here we are in Fort Hood at the Sports Dome in Texas. This was in the summer of '95.

When Troy grew up, he was going to be in the army...you can probably tell this by all the pictures with BDUs (Battle Dress Uniforms)...he begged me to buy them. If you can't tell, the ones that he is wearing with the flight helmet, are mine. Troy in my BDUs and a friend's flight helmet two and a half weeks before he was killed

Troy at Halloween '95 with his friend Because someone made the choice of drinking and getting behind the wheel, I hae lost a lot of my rights. My right as a mother to see my little boy grow up; my right to rush to the hospital because he broke his arm rollerblading; my right to be there at his graduation when he graduated high school and college. I will never get to be the grandmother to his children or send him off to basic training.
