The Temple of Heaven

Apparently the Emperor used to come here to pray for good harvests. The coolest thing about this building is that it is entirely made of wood...no nails. Imagine putting that together without NAILS!

Deep Fried Scorpions on a Stick

I don't know who actually eats this stuff, but they're EVERYWHERE in the Beijing tourist traps. Maybe people buy them as souvenirs instead of snacks?
