  From Jeff: "the most fucked up thing happened today.
  my domain name went up for renewal this morning. i went to renew it. and someone beat me to it. im fucked i no longer own jeff-klein.com. my website is down. my email address ive had for 5 yrs is no longer some bulk registration place in asia got it the second it went up tryin to resell it for absurd profit. i just registered jeffkleinmusic.com but that means all search engines and links are wrong now. im more worried though about some overseas corporate jackass getting and reading my emails now. This is a nightmare. I never got one single renewal notice. It's one thing if someone who was using it took it away from me. But to sneakily buy it out from
  under me just to try to sell it back for thousands of dollars. I am almost at the point of losing all faith in my humanity. The new Jeff Klein website shall be up in a few days at www.jeffkleinmusic.com  I apologize for any inconvenience. best wishes Jeff Klein"
• Sept 2001: "Jeff goes into the studio on the 24th (September). He will be putting "Five Good Reasons" on the new album for the radio along with "Susan" and "California." I do not know who is producing it though" - austinfabio [Jeff Klein Club]

• AND NOW OVER TO .......
  Hey folks,
  heres some news: Jeff Klein will be hosting a summer music series on "almost" every tuesday at Momos in Austin, TX. Each night will include amazing guest bands such as Lowery 66, the Barbers, The Dismukes, Dumptruck, Darwin Smith, Shearwater,
  and many more. Each evening will end with some form of set by Jeff Klein, be it full band or stripped down. If y'all are wondering who that new sexy bald bass player has been, it's been Jeff's friend Einar from Goudie (amazing band!!!), who has been kind enough to lend his talents. 
  As far as other shows, Jeff will be doing a live broadcast show for KGSR at the Saxon Pub on the 20th of July. The show will be broadcast live on KGSR 107.1FM in Austin, TX, or www.kgsr.com  for the internet saavy. The show will also feature Bob Schneider. Also, check pollstar soon for NY, MA, RI, and CT for dates at the end-o-july beginning-of-august. These will be full band shows and may sell out quickly, we advise purchasing tickets in advance once the dates are announced.
  New music coming soon.....as well as t-shirts! Contenders for the new EP's title are, "Diary of a Serial Monogamist", "Songs in the Key of Selfish", "Someone kill the Pain",  "I'm so miserable without you, it's almost as if you were here", "Another Breakdown", and "For Promotional Uses Only"

• ALBUM : Courtesy of padlock78758 (JEFF KLEIN CLUB). "The Diary EP has been pushed back for a few months, but that he is releasing a full length record on India of songs written and performed with Darwin Smith. Jeff didn't mention a title, but said it would be "a very dark, sparse country album".
• Jeff recently wrote a song with Johnny Goudie called "Already Here". It's for Goudie's upcoming album.

Jeff Klein is an artist on the move. Now, with veteran manager Tim Neece (Christopher Cross, Bruce Hornsby, Charlie Sexton) on his side, anything is possible. Klein's single "Five Good Reasons" off his CD "Put Your Weight on it" has been featured on episodes of the TV shows "Young Americans" and "Wasteland."
