Kut: ... You bet, I think you might like. The name of the band is Goudie. Johnny Goudie is the leader of the band. How do you spell your name Johnny?
Johnny Goudie: G O U D I E.
Kut: Are you aware, the word in Latin, means something like "joy"?
Johnny: No.
Kut: Yep. And.. What is your name of origin? Is it like ..
Johnny: Well it's Scottish spelling of a Spanish name.
Kut: Aha
Johnny: My family's off in Cuba, but my Goudie family came from Scotland.
Kut: Aha. Fascinating. So you've got a band, named for your name. Good name!
Johnny: Thank you.
Kut: And keep in mind. Some people will hear it, and think, "Oh that means joy, in Latin".
Johnny: Well that's good. You learn something new everyday.
Kut: Alright. So what would you like to play for us today?
Johnny: Ah, I'd like to play the first song off our album.... ah, it's called "Nobody's Perfect".
