**PEPSI MLS DRIBBLE, PASS
& SCORE**
The MLS Dribble, Pass and
Score competition will beheld this Saturday May
11th at Eastfield College Field #17 from 9:30 to
1:00. This FREE three-skill contest is a fun way to improve in the three
major soccer skills: a dribbling station that will test speed and control; a
passing station that will test accuracy; and a scoring station that will test
shot placement. Regional winners may advance to perform at a Dallas Burn game
and then winners get to advance to a national competition. Mesquite has already
had one such winner - Lauren Forte of the Mesquite Heartbreakers (note: - who
got to travel to Boston to compete at the MLS Cup a few years ago. Please bring
your whole team out--age groups that can compete are: 6-7,8-9, 10-11, and 12-14.
(Age is figured by what you will be by the end of this year!) For further
information Volunteers are sorely needed and any other info can be obtained by
calling Andy at 972-686-6991 or emailing andyu@realpage.com

**FREE
Skills Clinics**
Parents don’t forget there are FREE skills clinics every Friday night from 6:30–8:00 at the Bruton Rd. Soccer Facility for all U6 and above players. All you need is a ball, shinguards and water and you’re set. Sometimes Coach Scott helps out with the clinics and he hopes to see you there.
**Pay Back Time**
It’s time for McDonalds. How does after the May 11th 12:45 game sound? Parents decide on the locale and the coaches will buy the kids lunch.
**XAP PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOT**
XAP Photography has requested permission to take action pictures of Lady Terminator players during our game this Saturday May 11th (are your uniforms good and clean after Lewisville?). These are to be player action pictures not individual team pictures. If parents are so inclined, XAP will give a 5% discount to parents who purchase their action pictures. After the pictures are taken we have been advised that there is approximately a 2 week turnaround and that there is a money back guarantee. They are a little “pricey” but the finished product is AWESOME! For more information go to www.xapsports.com and check it out for yourself. There are examples on the ‘Gallery’ page.

**Thank you, thank
you, thank you!**
And thanks to Tim & Sara Culver for everything they have done to help the team. They have helped me tremendously and I hope they stay around for many seasons to come. And, of course a big thanks to you parents for putting up with me and committing a lot of your effort, time and dollars into this “2nd Family” which allow the kids to play the game that they love. I truly treasure your kids and feel privileged being their coach.
