Spring (March-May):
Departing winter wildfowl, Shelduck (rare), Common Sandpiper and (rarely) other waders, Common Tern, passage hirundines, Meadow Pipit, commoner migrant warblers and other passerines.
Summer (June-August):
Red-crested Pochard (from July), Common Tern, Swift, House Martin, Sand Martin and occasional Swallow; breeding warblers and songbirds.
Autumn (September-November):
Gadwall, Shoveler, Red-crested Pochard, Wigeon and Teal (both frequent), occasional waders including Common Sandpiper, migrants including Skylark, Meadow Pipit, wagtails and warblers.
