Characters

Out of all the Characters in the "Dragonlance" series (or at least the books I've read so far), Laurana is my favorite.  Besides being an elven princess, she is Tanis' true love, a sweet and strong young woman.  Handy with both bow and sword, Laurana becomes 'The Golden General' in the wars against the Queen of Darkness.  Not only does she save the Knights of Solamnia, she also teaches others how to use the dragonlances, uses a dragon orb, and generals the fleet of gold and silver dragons.

Other characters include:
Tanis Half-Elven: A young man, half elf and half human, torn between the two societies and his two loves.
Caramon: An immense warrior, Raistlin's twin, and Tika's love
Raistlin: A young, power-hungry mage, Caramon's twin, and a rather shifty character
Goldmoon: Bearer of the blue crystal staff and a cleric of Mishakl, she is the queen of the Que-shu tribe
Riverwind: Goldmoon's husband, original bearer of the staff, a tall and stern man
Tasslehoff Burrfoot: A happy-go-lucky kender and Flint's valued companion
Flint Fireforge: An old dwarf who looks after everyone as if they were his children
Sturm Brightblade: A Knight of Solamnia, chivalrous and kind, an excellent warrior
Gilthanas: Laurana's brother, an elven prince
Silvara: a silver dragon having taken elf form, a member of the wilder elf tribe
Alhana Starbreeze: The princess of the elven Silvanesti tribe, falls in love with Sturm
Kitiara: The woman Tanis' human side loves at first, a dragon highlord, sister to both Caramon and Raistlin
Fizban: a forgetful but powerful old mage with a shroud of mystery surrounding him
