Cowboy Bebop Manga

This amazing anime series was put into a three volume set of offbeat graphic novels produced by TokyoPop, and written by Yutaka Nanten, and Hajime Yutate.
Instead of following and retelling the happenings of the anime series, it goes through a few disconnected and mainly humorous side stories, featuring all four bounty hunters, Ein, and many new characters never seen in the series.
While some of the chapters are just bounty cases (with totally cool action scenes, and humour), a few of them delve into the pasts of the Bebop crew- how Faye learned to gamble- successfully, and the origin of Edwards- which actually gives us a much better view of Ed's pre-Bebop life, including a love interest- a cute would-be computer nerd named Tomato, yes, Tomato.
The artwork is absolutely beautiful, and pretty faithful to the series, except for Faye and Spike who seem to look a bit younger. The stories are all interesting, captivating, and- at some points- laugh-out-loud hilarious.
I definately recommend this series to any fan sof Cowboy Bebop- and even non-fans.
Too bad there's only three ^^;;.
