THE SMASHING PUMPKINS
The Smashing Pumpkins have been around since the early ninties. Along such early hard rockers as Nirvana this young quartet made quite a name for themselves. Their debut album, Gish, sparked an interest in the music world. Their second effort Siamese dream cemented them to rock stardom selling well over four million copies. Continuing their efforts they released a double album called Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness which also got multi-platinum success as well as the more recent Adore and newly released Machina albums. In the last couple years the band has undergone a few changes, most recently losing their original female bassist D'arcy and adding the bassist of Hole to their roster. Billy Corgan has changed somewhat over the years but he is still an amazing musical mind. Check out the multimedia below to learn more about the band. (All on site)
