Letters from Saudi Arabia

Between March and December 1999 I worked on a client project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While most of my colleagues avoided being staffed the project, I rather looked forward to seeing this mysterious and otherwise inaccessible country. I was only committed to working there for three months; I voluntarily stayed for nine. The job afforded me the great opportunity to travel in the region and far beyond - Bahrain, UAE, Egypt, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, India, Singapore, Australia, and Japan.

My life in Riyadh and my travels are detailed in a series of stories I sent my friends. I myself like letters 15, 12, and 24 the best. I'd recommend that you read those first, if you don't have the time or interest to read everything.
