  Fighting females is something
ONE LIFE TO LIVE
does better and with more humor than any other soaps. But Blair and Skye, and their verbal jabs  and underhanded schemes, have taken the theme to a new level.

  While you can`t blame Blair for fighting for what`s hers(read:Max), you can`t help but feel a little pleasure  watching Skye bring her down a peg or two, considering how nasty Blair can be. And vice versa: Skye just doesn`t know when to quit__ or when to shut up. Why two beautiful women are fighting over a guy who has proved to be a liar, cheater, and totally unworthy is beyond me, but love is blind___and in this case, jealous and vindictive to the extreme.
   Just how extreme was recently demonstrated with hilarious effects. A fed up Blair shoved Skye`s head in the toilet after Skye refused to leave a Buchanan dinner; Skye later retaliated by drugging Blair and giving her a haircut. While in some stories this plot device would seem extraneous, it was written to highlight the talents of those involved, and to fuel the fire between the ladies.
   Kassie DePaiva and Robin Christopoher(Blair and Skye)___ two powerful actresses__ not only have a wonderful sense of their characters but also a sense of comedic timing that complements the other`s. Watching their characters together is like watching a sporting event: Both have their own game plan, both are playing to win, and viewers are trying to keep their eyes on the ball. It will be nice to see in whose court the ball finally lands___ and if the repercussions fall under the heading "sudden death"
