A FEW WORDS FROM BOB COBB

Gethsemane

All those who journey, soon or late,

Must pass within the garden’s gate;

Must kneel alone in darkness there,

And battle with some fierce despair.

God pity those who cannot say;

“Not mine but thine”; who only pray:

“Let this cup pass,” and cannot see

The purpose in Gethsemane.

Trust Him

Trust Him when dark doubts assail thee

Trust Him when thy strength is small,

Trust Him when to simply trust Him

Seems the hardest thing of all.

Trust Him, He is ever faithful;

Trust Him for His will is best;

Trust Him, for the Heart of Jesus

Is the only place of rest.

Trust Him, then, through doubts and sunshine

All thy cares upon Him cast,

Till the storm of life is over

And the trusting days are past.

Time

Time is

Too slow for those who Wait,

Too swift for those who Fear,

Too long for those who Grieve,

Too short for those who Rejoice;

But for those who Love

Time is

Eternity
