The theme for my first art show, held on July 12, 2008 in Nazareth, Texas was based on my new book, What Does "Living Inside of Time" Mean to You? The book contains 40+ stories of people who I think learned a great deal of that elusive skill; therefore I have attempted to symbolically portray their stories in everything from oils to watercolors to "found" supplies.
The art show Open Day was July 12 in conjunction with the Germanfest - the only day the show was open to the public, but it was on view by arrangement.
Art Show/Book Signing
Viva Arts Gallery (8407 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209, Tel: 1-800-826-1143 www.Viva@VivaBooks.com) will host my second art show from October 10 to November 14, 2009. The opening reception will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 and will be open to the public. There will be a book signing, along with the art show, which is based on the 40 tapestries in my book What Does "Living Inside of Time" Mean to You? The show is dedicated to Dr. Ruth Gruber, who wrote Inside of Time which subsequently inspired me to write What Does Living "Inside of Time" Mean to you? A portion of my sales will be donated to aid refugees.
