My first girl, I drove all the way to Grande Prairie to get her
in -50C weather, but it was worth it. Jessie got her championship with
several BOB wins. She has a nose that tends to run off with her body
in hot pursuit. Out at the barn she is very busy checking on everyone
and finding the lost hens. Jessie is my shadow, following me from room
to room and lying down in a corner.
At the age of six Jessie is now retired -just from being a mom - her
daughters will have to go hard to keep up with this busy lady.
When my kids get a little older I'd like to track with her and do some
herding if I can convince her to work for me instead of for herself,
she has great style.
