The Virtual Homeplace

The Homeplace is the house Poppy Joe and Mother Sarah Cyrus built in 1923. It's a white woodframe house with a tin roof, just like most houses then. Across the rural road is the old barn, and just up the hill is the Cyrus Family Cemetary with Roy's Tree in the middle. It's still inhabited by grandchildren of Joe and Sarah, and it's where the annual Homecoming is held every Memorial Day.
