On program 2. I have not enjoyed the last few days, I have been tired, must get a blood test to see thyroid function, or maybe it is the constant gloom and rain. Have achieved getting the ditches cleared out and the field is draining much better and so is the stream next to the house. Started the kitchen cupboards, clear out and start brickwork tomorrow. Myfanwy and Richard have gone to see Eileen and Don, so it has been much quieter here. The sharp noises are not so penetrating and I have been happier about the implant today. Heard the cockerels crow today, it is the first time I have noticed them make a noise, it sounds like Richard screaming, James was whistling, that too sounded ghastly. Having to go out again tonight, I am getting a little fed up with all the socialising and questioning of this borg man with the device on his head, still they will all be back to work soon and I can have my peace. I so, so nearly get the speech on tv, the news especially, but not enough to turn off the subtitles, if only the resonance will go, I am sure I would understand, perhaps I need a new mapping or just more time. Music to has not improved, I can hear the drum beat, but sounds like a symbol and if I concentrate hard and I know the song , I can almost make out a word or two, but it is not enjoyable at all. Had a letter from Beyrl, the link centre are going to apply again for rehabilitation, fat chance ! Must also chase the referral to vestibular rehab.
Balance is not too bad today only a few near falls, but has got worse during the day, I have done a lot of work and getting tired, |
