Five Texas Chapter SVOOA members and their two guests with tickets/pit passes compliments of Ford's Mustang Club Center, meet on Friday, Oct. 30 at Houston Raceway Park for the time trials of the NHRA's Matco Tools Super Nationals.
Besides watching staggering speeds of 300+ miles per hour in around 4 seconds, chapter members were personally introduced to Funny Car Champion John Force who provided them with a pit tour and photo op with the car.
SVOOA members who went to the Nationals were Texas Chapter Director Jim Whelan of Leander, Ella and Allen Roberts of Bryan, Kyle Bullock of Austin, and Steve Pratt of Missouri City.
