Crabbing on the Intercoastal Waterway

You can fish for crab, as Chris Chung is doing here, along the Intercoastal Waterway. There are several little shallow lakes off the Waterway and they are home to lots of crabs. This one is between Freeport and the mouth of the Brazos River.

Chris has added almost all the comforts of home to his Potter. He has a propane stove mounted on a gimbel, water pump, electrical stuff, a bimini, a hatch with fan forward, seat lockers, and a roller furling jib.

We're anchored in the Intercoastal Waterway, fixing lunch. To talk to the tender of the bridge in the background you must have a marine radio. There is lots of barge traffic.
