It didn't count for anything for me because it was the first year that they were doing it and we were the guinea pigs. A waste of two perfectly good school weeks.... I did well on it.

(1) -- You are mixing chemicals in chemistry 101. You have at your lab station an erlemeyer flask containing .50mL of .5M NaOH, another erlenmeyer flask containing .50mL of .5M HCl and a large empty beaker. You are instructed to pour the two chemicals together into the large beaker. If the reaction is: NaOH + HCl ==> H2O + NaCl (salt water), then what was the name of the chemist?

(2) -- This animal is a new species. Identify it's habitat, it's diet, it's mating habits, what it likes to watch on television.... so on and so forth.

(3) -- If an apple is a fruit, and a broccoli is a flower, and a carrot is a root, what is a potato? (If you get this then you are better than everyone)
