THE FALLEN JEDI

No one knows that I still live. I used to be a Jedi investigator who discovered a pirate base among the moons of Bogden. The pirates were well-equipped and appeared to be funded by someone quite high up in the Senate.

On my signal a task force of 28 Jedi stormed the base to put it out of commission. But it was a trap. Three groups of Baktoid B2 super battledroids outflanked us. We managed to deflect blaster fire from three different directions during the first wave. By the third wave all but three Jedi were left standing.

In the final barrage, I alone managed to escape. But I have come to the conclusion that Jedi wisdom no longer exists. We were disadvantaged tactically on Bogden, as we were before the Battle of Geonosis some time ago, but we never learned from our mistake. The Jedi now do not appear to learn form their mistakes.

Now I walk alone, searching for the answer about the weakening of the Jedi, and who it was among the Senate funded the pirates.

THE TEST PILOT

I was one of the best pilots of the Jedi Order, next to Saesee Tiin, Adi Gallia and the notorious Anakin Skywalker. Give me any snubfighter, a Zebra, a CloakShape and especially a Delta-7 Aethersprite, and I can make it dance in space or in the air.

I was given the task of test piloting a new Delta-7 Heavy Assault Starfighter, with the built-in compact hyperdrive, from Kuat to Muunilinst and back. Unfortunately, pirates were waiting for me en route, waiting at the right time and the right place with a crystal gravfield trap. I reverted violently to face a squadron of armed corvettes and cruisers. I did not give up without a fight, of course. Within 2 minutes, two corvettes were cut in half, one cruiser had its sublight drives vaporized and another cruiser's bridge was exposed to space.

But I finally succumbed to a heavy barrage of ion cannons. They took the Delta-7 away and I was scheduled for termination before I used my Jedi powers to escape, destroying three of their fighters and another corvette. But they still have the Jedi starfighter.

Before I return to the temple, I have to cross the galaxy in order to track the fleeing pirates and recover the fighter from the them before they can sell the technology to a party that can really hurt the Jedi.
