Ghrikk is unlike most other Iotrans in the fact that he is quite technically inclined. In fact, he helped construct a custom light freighter and spends nearly all his time working on it.

Ghrikk is one of Travis' two best friends. The two of them have been with each other for several years now; the two built the Phoenix together. Ghrikk is unlike most other Iotrans in the fact that he is knowledgeable in several technical areas, including starship repair. He refuses to tell anyone where he learned what he knows, including Travis. He is not necessarily a genius, but is very well versed in starship repair/maintenance and customization. Ghrikk considers the Phoenix to be his masterpiece, despite some of its problems.He spends almost all of his time on board the ship, repairing, adjusting, and improving the ship. He hardly ever leaves the ship, except for supplies or a drink in the local tavern (he's a rather cheap drunk - except for the Yavin Ale).
