Jedi Master Laran Plyko was an acclaimed Jedi Master at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He was there for four years before being asigned a Padawan to be trained. That Padawan was Merovaeus Gyver, who hailed from Master Laran's homeworld of Corellia. Soon however, the Jedi Purge started, with the temple on Coruscant being the Emperor's first target, Laran Plyko and several other Jedi were lucky to escape with their lives.
