Roh-Tahn-Synn, an experienced, well-trusted Jedi was tasked by Master Windu at Grandmaster Yoda's insistence to take a small group of the remaining Jedi and Padawan to the outer rim, far away from brewing conflicts inside the Republic. The goal? To preserve the Jedi.

Synn is a dedicated Jedi and highly skilled. The Force is his ally and they make a formidable team to go against. His current Padawan, the human female, Callista Fallon is howing great promise. Synn is one of the very few Jedi who has taken up the difficult double saber. His choice was made in difference to his skill as well as the fact that with his over 2 meter height and unique anatomy of the Ithorian race, the saber provided a better defensive / offensive field of coverage compared to standard lightsabers favored by other Jedi.

Though leading a small band of Jedi into seclusion in the Outer Rim, Synn feels that the Sith are not so easily outmaneuvered and secretly fears that the Sith may already been in a position to find his small band.
