Gorden Grumb was a down-on-his-luck star pilot, living hand-to-mouth, who owned an old beat-up, rusty Corellian YT-1300 freighter named the Dripping Slime. He first encountered the Strikeforce Enteague when they required a lift from Akatris to Bespin several months after the Battle of Endor. Handsomely rewarded for his services, he later bought a newer YT-1300 which he named the Dripping Slime II and his luck turned for the better.

Five years later, during the bounty on Genya Brock crisis, the grateful Grumb ran into the reformed strikeforce. He offered to ferry Genya, Ham Slacker and Shanna Toarninar free-of-charge to Fondor with the Dripping Slime II.

Several months later when Shanna went hunting for the escaped prisoner Yarr Gatonne, she forced an unwilling Grumb to transport her to Coruscant to search for Gatonne's hideout. It was then that the a massive Imperial force attacked and bombarded Coruscant, in order to retake the capital world. A single turbolaser shot vaporized the landing platform where the Dripping Slime II was parked.

It has been reported that Grumb has now come to a small fortune and bought a new Ghtroc-720 freighter, naming it the Dripping Slime III.

Gorden Grumb is a large, obese man with an objectionable body odor. One rarely finds him in a sober state and almost never without a bottle of cheap intoxicant in his hand. He wears a range of flight coveralls and shirts, of which none are without beverage and/or vomit stains.
