Creator's Biography

Stephanie Schoepple grew up in Bethlehem, a town in Eastern Pennsylvania known for its rich historical background and flourishing art and music scenes. Throughout her school years, Stephanie pursued visual, musical, and lyrical art forms through high school art classes, young artist workshops, craft workshops, involvement in bands, vocal lessons, theatre, writing workshops, and personal journalling. Her artwork is currently on display in several different places, from the Capitol Rotunda in her state's capital of Harrisburg to murals in her hometown. Her poetry has been published through poetry.com and the Library of Congress and has been nationally recognized and awarded, and she has won numerous prizes in young writers' essay contests. Although she never had any musical success, deciding not to pursue a career as musician or actress and instead going into the field of Art Therapy, she was a member of Saucon Valley High School's Freddy Award winning cast of 'Guys and Dolls' in 2003.

Today, Stephanie continues to concentrate on her art and writing, working mainly on the "TFA" comic, as well as a small book of poetry (including several of her award-winning pieces) which she hopes to have published someday and a large collection of original clothing designs. In her spare time, she enjoys attending concerts, going to museums, blogging (online journalling), taking/posing for photographs, antiquing, thrift shopping, and travelling.

Stephanie would like to thank the following for their contributions to her art and life: Sandra Eckert, Len Roberts, Sandra Blizniak, Jason Travers, Barbara Psathas, Daniel Walter, David Mack, Bob Dylan, Rick Kurek, Leonard French, Jr., Jenica Hendricks, Heather Ortwein, Stephen Krock, the original "TFA" crew (Alison Pilorz, Melissa Frain, Natalie Hadjiloukas, Stephanie Piccarillo, Heather Plebani, Mandi Schneider, Brenda Hillegas, Rebecca Bentley, and Joseph Rich), Baum Art School, the Andy Warhol Museum, the Allentown Art Museum, New Hope, New York City, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Baltimore, and as much as it pains her to say it, Hellertown.
