It can't be stressed enough that what drives this comic the most are its characters. A lot of effort was put into making them real people with real interests and real emotions, to both of which readers could hopefully relate. The effort isn't going to stop outside the pages of the comic, however, because this site offers even more insight into the characters, their feelings, their interests, and their lives.
