The TFA girls may be imaginary, and they may be multifacted, multitalented dynamos of ink and paper, but at the heart of it all, they're still girls and they still like "girl stuff." Each of the characters has a style unto her own. One of the hugest tasks to undertake in the making of TFA was to keep that style evident in every frame. While the creator took a lot of time in applying some of her own fashion designs on the characters when they worked, in the real world, the characters would be shopping for themselves just as much.
