Dry Clean Only

It was the best of sweaters it was the worst of sweaters

Not like normal ones...throw it in the machine for a half hour

swish swish swish the load turns.

Not this one though.

For this one had something unknown to me.

I threw it in the machine, ready, set to go

Swish Swish Swish the load turn

The buzzer rings

BZZZZ BZZZZZ BZZZZZ

For it is time to be dried.

Everything seemed normal, nothing a miss

I’ll just go run some errands,let the dryer take care of this.

I come home later after the time has passed

The buzzer rings

BZZZZ BZZZZZ BZZZZZ

I pull it out and to my surprise

Its now too small, half the size.

Forty dollars are gone because I didn’t know

It was dry clean only.
