Granny’s Love My Grandmothers love is Like no other love I know. I could feel how strong it is By the look in her eyes, The touch of hand, The sternness of her words, The caring things she did for me. If I ever needed anything, She was right on time, Like my God on earth. Everything she was I wanted to be, Everything she did I wanted to do, Exactly the way she did it. When my Granny felt pain I felt it too. When she’d cry I would wipe her tears. She was my joy of life, The reason I felt I could be all I wanted and
more. She would always put others before herself Shortening her patients with life. Her sickness grew worse, Granny was on her deathbed. Then came the day when they told me granny Had passed. I never knew such pain. Crying myself to sleep that night I said a prayer toward heaven: Goodbye Grandma
Our time was sweet
At heavens gate our
Souls shall meet
For now and forever You are
always in my heart And as long as I pray We will never be apart By: Melody K.
