Mr. Mooney's Desk |
Mr. Mooney's desk is so cluttered |
To find something makes one fluttered. |
From the house near the window made of Popsicle sticks |
To the right hand corner framed flower pics. |
Papers and folders all over the place |
It's hard to imagine he can find any space. |
Dictionaries, binders, artwork, and books |
He does not care much about how it looks. |
A market day order as blank as can be |
Why he never filled it out still puzzles me. |
Tape, staplers, and paper clips |
Notebooks, pens and pencil tips. |
A crate sits on top filled with papers galore |
He has about three thermoses, does he need anymore? |
If you look quite closely, you will see in the back |
An apple with "Mr. Mooney" printed on black. |
If you look at this desk with only a glance, |
You miss something more, give it a chance! |
For you never notice the desk itself |
It is old, an antique, with chips in the shelf. |
The character and value surely shows |
Who used this desk? God only knows! |
For a desk like this has a history |
But its life and age is a mystery. |
So without the distraction of the mess |
To find the desk would be effortless. |
