Can you help me out?

I'm at a place where it's very dark.

I can barely see anything.

I've probably walked hundreds of miles.

And I haven't seen a speck of light or anything.

The floor feels funny almost as if I'm in a cave.

The ground is very moist, but very sticky as well.

There's no one around for me to ask for help.

But all I hear are voices in my head like "I told you so."

Or "You should've listened." Over and over again.

This place has an horrible odor.

Almost as if it's boiling tar.

I'm relieved that I haven't passed out from the fumes yet.

Earlier it felt like bugs crawling on my feet.

And I ran because of the terrible thought of not knowning what was on me.

And as I ran I heard crunching noises.

I also have a mystery of where things come from.

I hear screaming from all around, in every direction.

They never become louder. Nor did they become softer.

I can't believe I've been here for hours and not know where I am.

When I try to recall on how I got here.

My mind goes blank.

The last thing I can remember is a car horn.

And then someone getting hit.

Then after that at a hospital people yelling and many lights.

Then just before something like a photo flash.

A sharp buzzer sound that carried on til I didn't hear it.

Then after that nothing else comes to mind.

But from those few visuals none of that could help me out.

Well, anyway as far as I've traveled eventually I'll see some light somewhere.
