Ways to Tell You've Read too Many Fics

  • Your favorites list consists of ONLY fanfiction archives
  • The second you wake up, you're online to see if your favorite author added a new fic/chapter
  • Whenever the cry of HALEJUAH echoes throughout the house, your family knows you've found a new fic
  • Laughter, tears, shouts, and things being thrown are not unusual sounds to be heard from the computer room. They know its only you reading fics

  • You join thousands of ML's for a daily dose of fanfiction
  • Your screen name is something like 'The Fic Hunter' or 'FanfictionGod'
  • RL means nothing to you. Life is SO much better in fanfiction.
  • Fics have got you to believe that things like 'hammerspace' and 'infamous, trademarked glares' really exist
  • Every birthday, before you blow out the candles, you wish that your favorite author would write you a birthday fic
  • You try and burn down a bookstore because they didn't carry a collection of fanfics about your favorite series
  • Life has no meaning if you can't read fanfiction
  • Fanfiction.net is your favorite site in the whole wide world [or World Wide Web, heh heh.
  • The thing that makes you cry the hardest is hearing an author say "I'm just not into anime anymore, so I won't be writing anymore fics"
  • People are terrified when they recieve a review from you
  • You start threatening people with stupid things such as 'never reading anything of THEIRS again' if they don't finish an incomplete story.
