DOWNLOADS: None.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Open new canvas 400Wx300H. Use a medium color so you can see what you are doing since the fence will be white.

  2. Path Drawing Tool - 2d - triangle- white - draw a shape on your canvas approx 34 x 36.

  3. Path Drawing Tool - 2d - rectangle - white - draw a shape approx 34 x 188. Hold ctrl and select both pieces, right click align left, right click, merge as single object. Right click and duplicate this four times so you have five fence pieces and arrange as shown. You need to arrange 2 pieces at left end, 2 pieces at right end, one in the middle, select all, right click, align bottom. The middle one needs to be farther apart than the rest for the picture area. Go to paintbrush, a dark gray, shape 3, Effect, all, paint on edges. Do this for each post. You can hold ctrl and select the first 2 and the last 2 now and merge as single object if you want. DO NOT INCLUDE the middle post.

  4. Path Drawing Tool - 2d - rounded rectangle - white - draw a shape approx 290 x 30. Paint on edges on this piece also and arrange as shown. Right click and duplicate this piece and move towards the bottom of the fence.

  5. Path Drawing Tool - custom shape - Fll - 2d - color - green - draw a shape approx 30 x 35. Rotate as you wish and duplicate once or twice, depending on how many leaves you want and place on left side of fence.

  6. Path Drawing Tool - custom shape - S08 heart - 2d - colors light pink and dark pink or whatever you want - draw shapes for your flowers and place trailing down the fence, overlapping each other, arranging as you like, rotating and such. You will probably need to paint on edges on the heart flowers to identify the edges on them too.

  7. Line and Arrow Tool - color green - 2d - width 1 or 2 - draw a few stems at the bottom. Don't worry about the way they look at the connection with the flowers. We are going to cover that up with a bow!

  8. Grab a bow, or make one of your own and place it on the bouquet, and we will be ready for the text. You can ctrl, click on each of the flowers and leaves and stems and merge as single object.

  9. Text Tool - Any color you want, I used a dark green - any font of your choice, around size 26, 2d, type out your text, I LOVE YOU all in caps and place on the top post, then type out A WHOLE BUNCH and place on the bottom cross post.

  10. You're ready for your picture! Insert whatever picture you want in the middle. You want it narrow, then right click, arrange, send backward three times, so that it is behind everything but the middle post. Whoohoo, finally done. Save just the frame so you can insert other pictures!

HAVE FUN!!! I hope you enjoyed this tut!
