Terry's Wood Working Projects!

a little background:

project number 1 began when I wanted an end table to match my oak chest/coffee table....it was a success as well as learning experience! (1999)

project number 2 originated when I brought Mambo home from the lab...he became domesticated and needed a tank stand. Customized for his belongings and yet decorative. I tried out the leaf molding around the top and the bottom. After all he is a lizard! (2000)

project number 3: A quick weekend visit to Tara's and I was put to work. No table before but a finshed one by the end. We went with a green tile border , gray tiles for the rest with a burgundy butterfly (broken tiles) in the center. The challenge here was she had NO tools....amazingly we managed. (2000)

picture pending...

project number 4: well I decided to finally move and wanted a bookcase that matched my other 2 pieces, unlike my entertainment center. On this piece, I used the same leaf molding, but with a scalloped edge on the top and bottom shelves.(2001)

project numer 5....after moving into a new apartment I wanted a square table for the chairs I already had. After making Tara's table, I thought this would be the way to go! Using 12x12 tiles, and a thick border I was on my way. This was my first miter job and not my last. The center tile still needs to be mosaic-ed into a gray lizard. soon that picture will be added...along with the aprons.(2001)

the next project-who knows, but ideas are brewing!!

wanna go home???
