Okay, if you are a member of this RPG, then you must first read through all of the rules in order to understand how to play.  So if you dont, then, you wont know how to play and you will keep screwing up in a episode.... if you screw up on an episode more than 3 times... you get booted from the RPG and your character will be up for grabs.  :) Introduction   First off, if you dont like to write, then you shouldnt be here, cuz this is a serious fanfiction PBeM and al of the characters are expected to do as a serious person would in the RPG, unless... your character is a retard or just likes to laught alot, then you can do so in the game, but I must know so, so I wont get confused, make sure that you write it doen as a personality.  The RK RPG was put together for fans who are addicted to the series as I am to DBZ, players who make it will be able to do whatever they want to change in the story for themselves ONLY!  Read this and you will be able to play in the RPG with ease. How do I settle into the plot? First, when you join, you must have a profile that is related to the story of Kenshin... ie. you cant have a character working for America come to Tokyo for gold, and not get into the conflict at all! Remember that Kenshin has a siyuation in it... and in your profile you will tell me how you got into the story.... but it can be so that a character IS working for America looking for gold in Japan while meeting eith the other characters and befriending them or hating them, you may start an episode of your life anytime, what you want to do is up to you!!  So in the 1st episode that you are in... make sure to include stuff about you.. you cant go right into battle! Make sure you know whats happening first! Controling my character   You may only control YOUR character... so you cant have a character of your asking for money from some other character and also write in your part that she DOES give you the money.... remember that you can only conttrol your character, no one else.  If a situation does occur that you must do this with other characters then email them a question... so you can write down what happens to the situation without you having to waste your time emailing your part of the story to the next person and waiting for the person you are interacting with to recieve the new mail... Hosting   I will ask players to host a game once in a while, if this happens, then you start the story, then you pass it to whoever you think should be in the story next.... but remember, everyone has to have a part in the story.... so you have a mailing list of all the characters in the game (when you join)... you can email whoever you want the part of the story, but you must also give all the characters 2 appearances in the story...... If the person doesnt respond within 3 days of sent message, alarm me and I will take him out of the story and I will use stuff that I come up with to fill his part, but if he/she has a goo reason for not being able to reply, then sure, Ill allow him to pass on this one and make it up later......        AS FOR THE RECIEVER OF THE MAIL....   You may write down no more than 2 paragraphs... no less than 1 paragraph.. this consisists of 5-7 sentences!  You may write down whatever you want to do in the RPG.  But remember, you must be able to know where you last left off... so ... you must continue from last episode! And when you are about to write make sure you follow this format: Character: Role-play (your part of the story): and when you are finished writing your paragraphs, then divide the paragraphs with a ***** line. so for example:      Jins paragraph *******************************************************     Your paragraphs *******************************************************  and so on. Dealing with Relationships   In real life, your on your own.... but remember that in the story... anyone can fall in love or out of love with anybody.  So its up to you on who you want to like or hate, but that doesnt mean they have to like you back!  So you cant go to someone and tell them that someone is your girlf/boy friend.. or you can, that will add more spice to the story... so, in this part, you dont have to hide your feelings, just make it known somehow... even if she reads about you likeing that 1 person, in the story, she/he must act as if she/he didnt know about it... unless someone lets her know.. then she/he must still act normal toward that person.  As for sexual content, you cant have sex with someone that doesnt want to in the story... and make sure that you are mature about it... no details, just write down a couple of sentences on what they do before the act then say something like "they both go into bed" or something more better,  just make sure you dont overdo it.... kissing, snuggling, feeling is allowed, but not in detail all the hentai. NPCs   NPCs are non-playable characters, so you cant control any of the really complicated or main chacters in the story, or  else it wouldnt be fair, but you may control them for your stories.... and you must be real!!!  Kenshin wouldnt fight for the wrong side.. remember what the characters are and what they would do in that situation!  You may control them as long as: a. you dont kill them b. you dont have sexual relationships with them (kissing is allowed) c. you dont let them kill anyone major. Manipulating other characters that are not NPCs   You manipulate them as far as walking eith you or fighting.. you know, the basic stuff that you would do without having a person go into any major stuff like being killed or lost in a forset... just make sure you dont have any major stuff going on. Dying...   Oh come on!  All the characters eventually die!  But incase you do die, then thats game over for you... but you may rejoin as anothe character in the future without having the sign in trouble of joining.  In other details.. killing a character is very harsh... I mean its your choice weather you get choped up or not... but remember that what you do will effet hoe NPCs think of you.. I control them in the story!  So next time you think of going into a fight, make sure its with another NPC that you just made up.... see more details on dealing eith NPC's.... i other terms... no one has to die! well if your a bad guy... you know the story... be resonable... and remember there are more to being defeated than just dying, you can try to run, go for help, use abilities, or just get KOed!  So be realistic.. and no one should be after someone else for trivial purposes. Battles   A battle between human and human takes a long complicated step... first off.. a  battle is not stat based.. it just depends on you!  A human player takes this in a newer level, dont kill everyone!  Its a waste that a person must go into 20 episodes and die by getting shot!  No! Its not like that!  I can understand between random NPC's you know, soldiers, samurai's no one in perticular and only there for the main idea of being killed...  you can make them up as long as you want.. no profile is needed... but if you want to have a girlfriesnd or a brother or someone else that you want to have thats not in the RPG already.. you may make a profile for them.... but you may only make a profiled NPC up to the max of 4!  So make sure you dont use them all in 1 shot!  As for battles....  human vs. human is a different thing... first they must agree on what will happen... like they  email each other seperately from the main episode email, then they say what do you want to do?  You may type down the battles or just decide who wins!  But make sure that the other player knows what is going on... you would hate to logon into a story and find out that your character has been killed by a newbie..... Using abilities/moves   Use your moves!  It doesnt matter!  It just makes the fight better!  But dont overuse them! As for special abilities (specail traits) you may use them without telling the other person, like speed, you can just keep dodging the blows becasue your really fast!! Surrounding    Your set in the time of Shoguns!  You can bust in on a episode saying that you have a Porch! Its not possible.. old guns.. yeah.. cars.. hell NO!  You must focus on your surroundinds so that you may interact with it! Items Stuff like books dont even exist in the time of Kenshin!  Make sure your items are at the same timeline!  And also!....  if you buy an item... you must say how you got it in the story... and be reasonable... you can type down what you want to buy.. but a peasant cant buy a samurai sword of the shoguns!  And if you buy like 3 items... you can only use that much of an amount!                                         These are all of the rules at this momment...                                                                       Back to home
