We'll start with practices. I am going to be taking cal a lot more seriously than I did last year, and now that we have a server to practice on, that will help us a lot more. We will be having Cal practices every friday and Saturday starting 11 eastern. Heres how it will break down. We will start off by going over and teaching some new strats and tactics that Vince and I have came up with. After we have learned those, we will scrim testing out the new strats. On Saturday, We will just go straight into scrimming and improve whatever errors we made on fridays scrim(s). I hope to get about 2 or 3 scrims in on friday night. We will do a basic map every week just so we have a little preperation time before cal starts. Once cal starts, we will be practicing and scrimming much more during the week until the next match. For all the members not involved in the cal practices, if you want, we will have another practice going over all the strats so whenever we scrim, everyone will know the new strats. Tell me if you want to or not. The Cal roster is still myself, vince, eric, poufy, and keen. Since poufy is not back yet, we will have to find a 5th to take his place while he is gone. A 5th has not been decided yet.
Moving on to the server status. So far, we have had quite a bit of problems with it as far as down time and lag. I have emailed x22 and reported all of our problems to them. The server has been restorded and the lag is being worked on. The lag should not last more than a few days. He appologized to me and said if there is anymore problems, dont hesitate to email me and we will give you an extra few weeks if problems still occurr.
The Team Golden steam skin has been completed and will be released very soon. We are working on a mirror for people so download it. Once we have that, we will start constructing the downloads section of the site. We will have a SS for you of what it looks like also.
And the last thing for now, the team golden movie. I will be working on a team golden movie after I complete my own. The movie will contain clips of all members in scrim play that I get enough clips from. However, there are a few things that must be done first. I have been having some technical difficulties with my computer so it is making it very hard to complete my movie. I am still hoping I can release it by christmas or so but we'll see. I will also have to have enough footage from everyone to start making the movie. So from now on, I want all members to record PoV demos while in scrims and if you get a decent clip, send it to me. But for now, I'm working on my own :D
