OK guys, i'll start with cal practices. Last weeks practice went very well. We went over all strats on de_dust2 and scrimed a decent clan and won using our new strats. Now that was only 1 clan so I want to practice more to make sure that the strats work on different clans and circumstances. Since we still need a few more scrims on dust2 before we are satisfied, We will be having a few scrims this weekend. Since it is thanksgiving weekend and everyone is busy with family and whatnot, we will be delaying the inferno practice till next weekend. But for this weekend, I want to gether the cal team together sometime this weekend and have a few more scrims. The last thing about this is we need to arange a specific time for cal practices to begin on friday and saturday to meet everyones needs. Ill be talking with people to find a time.
Moving onto the Members status. There is a few things that I need to take care of. First of all, Spyder is one of erics friends that he recruited. So far, I've had a lot of people say to me he isnt that good and other things of that sort but I have not seen him yet. Most people dont even know him and have not made an effort to get to know him and vice versa. Anyway, If he continues to just wear tag and not actually try and be a part of the clan, he will not remain in the clan so we'll see what happens. Once again, I still have yet to check him out for myself.
Also, Jon has come to us in hoping to find a spot in the clan. Now, We've had some bad history with jon in the past but he is different now and a lot more skilled than ever before. Im thinking it would be a wise decision to recruit him into the clan and be the main sub for cal season 10. I've talked to a few people about this and we feel its a good choice to let him in.
Ok, So now we have a 12 person roster, and I dont like it. I feel that 12 people is too much for this clan but I'm willing to bear with it IF everyone is taking some role in the clan. By this I mean, activeness. There are a few people that do not play as much and have higher priorities than cs and have gone partially inactive. I respect that but if you are not going to participate in scrims, or never have time to play at all anymore, I see no reason to keep you in the clan. What I'm trying to say is, if were going to have a 12 person roster, I want EVERYONE to be active. And it goes without saying that we are not recruiting anyone for a while.
ok, about our server. So far, it's really not worth it with all the times I had to email the company about lag, and the server going down, and whatever else. I'm not sure, but I think the reason the server is down for the last few days is because they are under-going maintanace mainly for lag. Now, if its just down because it's down, thats another story and I'm not going to be happy about it. I have emailed the company asking whats going on and hopefully they will repond to me soon. I'll try and get contact with them soon and find out why we are having more problems with this server than we are getting use of it.
I just wanted to fill you guys in on my movie status :] I have decided to split the two up and make it 2 movies instead of 1 giant one. It will still be a fairly big movie. Im guessing around 10 minutes. Anyway, I'm really working hard on trying to complete my first movie and show everyone i know :] So far, I'm happy with the results since I have a little more that half way finsihed. I am hoping to try and get it finsihed by next weekend so hopefully I can follow through. If not next weekend for some lazy reason, next weekend for sure. But I'm really working fast to complete it :D
