While playing pause the game and press the following:

A cursor should appear.  Press and hold the following:
A, B
While these buttons are held move the cursor over a number by pressing LEFT
or RIGHT on the control pad and then use UP or DOWN to change the numbers.
Unpause the game and continue powered up.
