This game has awesome graphics the best of which I have ever seen
on any video game to date! The story is very intriguing espiecally the part
about the 3 goddesses who creatd the land that is Hyrule. If you are a fan
of any Zelda game (Link's Awakening, Legend Of Zelda, Legend Of Zelda 2,
Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past) then you'll love this game! I like the
way the C buttons are set up, one thing that I don't like is the lengthy
descriptions of items when you get them out of a chest or get them for the
first time. This game is a must_have in my opinion! Many of the names and
items and bosses were taken from the older Zelda Games such as Nabooru,
Rauru; Gannon, Dark Link...I also like that part about the game.
THIS GAME IS MOST DEFINITELY THE GAME OF THE DECADE...NO THE MILLENIUM!
AND I THINK IT IS THE GAME THAT WILL RE-SHAPE THE WAY NU64 GAMES ARE MADE...
FOREVER!!

S T O R Y
============================================================================
Long ago, before Hyrule or any other world existed 3 goddesses
descended onto the chaos that was our young solar system. Din, Farore, and
Nayru. Din-The goddess of power, Nayru-The goddess of Wisdom, & Farore-The
goddess of courage. Din wither he strong flaming arms cultivated the lands
of all planets, creating mountains, valleys, & canyons. Farore rich soul
created all the beings, animals, creatures that would uphold the law.
Nayru poured out her her spirit and conscience onto all the planets and gave
all the creatures of all the planets a sense of justice and fairness.
The 3 goddesses, thier labors completed, deaprted for the heavens.
Just before they left they created the golden sacred triforce, which housed
all of the essences and spirits of all the 3 goddesses. The 3 pieces of the
triforces Wisdom, Courage, & Power. All were broguht together and they all
rested in a place in one planet in a place called Hyrule. Later, the plae
where the triforce came to rest was called the Sacred Land.
The triforce will grant the wishes of the person who touches it.
It will grant the wishes that are present in the heart and mind of that
individual. If a good-hearted person touches it and makes a wish it will
lead all of the planets and Hyrule to a long Golden Age. If an evil-hearted
person touches it the universe wil be plunged into chaos.
In order to protect the Sacred Land. The 7 ancient sages built a
temple, The Temple Of Time, and made a portal behind a stone door which
could only be moved by 3 magical amulets and an ancient royal artifact, The
Ocarina Of Time. Once the three amulets were in place the individual would
then play the Song Of Time to open the door on the Ocarina of Time. Once
that person draws the mythoological sword, The Master Sword, they will be
transported to the Sacred Realm. There they would find the triforce the
essence of the 3 goddesses, and make a wish. After the 7 ancient sages were
finished making the Temple Of Time, each of them put her or her own
individual power into a medallion. And created a place inside of the Sacred
Land, right below the triforce where these 7 medallions would be contained.
If an evil-hearted person gains the triforce then that place would be the
only stronghold against the evil man's power.
300 years later...a man from the Gerudo region named Ganondorf
appeared in Hyrule Castle pledging his allegiance to the king of Hyrule.
While the king's daughter princess Zelda watches from the window, Zelda
knows that this man is to overthrow her father. She has tried telling him
of the dreams she has had and she has tried to make him understand that this
are prophetic visions. Her father, the king won't believe her. And then
one night she has another prophetic vision, one where a dark cloud was
starting to cover all of Hyrule, just at the last moment though a ray of
light shot out from the Kokiri Forest and cleared the evil clouds. Then
at the front of the ray of light was a man with a fairy and 3 magical
amulets. Later, Princess Zelda meets the little boy who will grow up to
be the man in her dream.....the Hero Of Time.

dreams was that of a man in black armor, Ganondorf, who overtook the land
and turn it upside down. She has tried to persuade her father (the king)

Joystick: Moves Link or Epona around. Also highlights selections on the
SubScreens, and aims the slingshot, boomerang, hookshot or longshot.
---
The Z Button & Z Targeting: The Z button is used mainly for selecting a
different subscreen. Or for using Z targeting...Z Targeting is useful
to orient yourself, and when Navi the Fairy flys away from you press Z to
target what ever she is on, if its a person or sign it will be light blue.
If its an enemy it will be yellow, if its green she's trying to give you
a hint. You can use Z Targeting to find out an enemy's weakness, press Z
when Navi flys up to it and press the C-UP button. The Navi icon in the
upper right will flash when she has something to say about an enemy. Also,
while Z targeting you can defend with your shield while moving around, you
can also dodge enemy attacks by pressing the joystick to the left or right &
pressing the Action button (more on the action button later.), you will
then jump to the left or right depending what direction you pressed the
joystick. You can also backflip pressing the joystick down and pressing the
action button while Z-Targeting.(Note: sometimes she will want to say
something to you out of battle. Press C-UP as before to hear her.)
You can use Z Targeting to talk to people from a distance..when Navi flys up
to someone press Z to center on that person then press A to talk to them.
Note: Sometimes Navi will fly to an area and turn green, and if you press A
you can't center on it. This means that a secret is hidden there and you
should try to play one of your melodies-Song Of Storms, Scarecrow Song, &
Sun's song. More on that in the below.
---
Action Button: The A button, it is called the action button because of the
icon in the upper right (See 'Game Screen' section.) The action icon will
flip over to display a different action to perform if Link is running Z-
Targering, etc. When you stand next to a door you can open by pressing A
if it is chained, you'll need akey, and if it is barred you can't open it.
If your Z-Targeting an enemy (Refer to above Z button section). You can
jump while pressing the joystick or attack the enemy with a jump slash
(which will cause double damage to the enemy..did I mention that?) if your
sword is drawn. If it isn't drawn you can roll attack which does nothing.
Also if your running you can roll attack to avoid some kinds of damage,
like boulders falling on top of you. You can open a chest while standing
next to it. When your holding a pot or bomb you can throw it whil running
if you press A. You can dive while pressing and holding the Action Button
while swimming.
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE BLUE CIRCLE (ACTION ICON) SAYS!!
---
Control Pad: Not used.
---
R Button: Raise your sheild in defense, if you defend while Z Targeting an
enemy you can defend while moving. Let go of R to attack with your sword
or other weapon. While swimming you can press it consecutively to swim
faster. While talking to someone you have already talked to or reading a
message you have already read you can press B and hol B to make the message
fly past.
---
L Button: Not used.
---
Start Button: Pauses game, and while it's paused it brings up the Subscreens
---
C-UP Button: Press C-UP to look around yourself, and talk to Navi.
---
C-RIGHT, C-LEFT, C-DOWN, Button: Use a selected C-Button item. Or press it
to assign a C-Button item on the Select Item Subscreen.
---
B Button: Press this button to swing your sword. While Z targetin you will
swing vertically, you can swing horizontally by holding the joystick to
the left or right and press B, while z targeting you can also attack
with a jump attack which causes double damage, by pressing the Action Button
(just a little of fyi about the jump-attack).
WHILE RIDING EPONA THE HORSE.....
While riding Epona Link's horse you can jump over fences by building up
speed before you hit them. To buil up speed press the action button. And
to shoot arrows press B, everything else is the same...move Epona with the
joystick slow her down to a stop or back up by holding the joystick down.

M E L O D I E S
============================================================================
These melodies are listed in order (from left to right)
1. Zelda's Lullaby-This melody is taught to you by Impa after you have
talked to Princess Zelda for the first time. It opens up passages when
played on triforce symbols.
Notes:
C-LEFT, C-UP, C-RIGHT, C-LEFT, C-UP, C-RIGHT
------------------------------------
2. Epona's Song-This melody is taught to you by Malon in Lon Lon Ranch, as
young link. Use it to get free milk (see trips & tricks section). And
as Adult Link you can use it to summon Epona on Hryule Field.
Notes:
C-UP, C-LEFT, C-RIGHT, C-UP, C-LEFT, C-RIGHT
------------------------------------
3. Saria's Song-This melody is taught to you by Saria in the Sacred Forest
Meadow when you come back to visit Saria later as young link. It let's you
enter the Sacred Forest Meadow as Adult Link. And it lets you talk to Saria
or Navi the Fairy. This is also the gorons's favorite song!
Notes:
C-DOWN, C-RIGHT, C-LEFT, C-DOWN, C-RIGHT, C-LEFT
------------------------------------
4. Sun's Song-You find this melody on the wall of the Royal Family's Tomb
in Kakariko Village. It can turn night into day, or day into night, when
you play it. You can also summon big fairies in a few locations when you
play this song, when Navi turns green.
Notes:
C-RIGHT, C-DOWN, C-UP, C-RIGHT, C-DOWN, C-UP
------------------------------------
5. Song Of Time-This melody is taught to you by Princess Zelda after she
escapes from Hryule Castle by way of a telepathic message. It is used to
open the Door Of Time. And it is also used to move any blue blocks in your
way. You learn this melody after retrieving the Ocarina Of Time from the
moat.
Notes:
C-RIGHT, A, C-DOWN, C-RIGHT, A, C-DOWN
------------------------------------
6. Song Of Storms-You learn this from the Composer inside of the windmill
as Adult Link (man, he looks mean check out his eyes!!), show him your
Ocarina and he will teach you the Song Of Storms. It can open a few holes
in the ground, it can also summon big fairies when Navi turn greens (more
than the Sun's Song do). Opens the Well Of The 3 Features in Kakariko
Village if played in the windmill as Young Link.
Notes:
A, C-DOWN, C-UP, A, C-DOWN, C-UP
------------------------------------
7. Scarecrow's Song-This is the most unique melody of them all!! To learn
it play any number of eight notes for the scarecrow on the right of the
patch of brown dirt, as Young Link. Then go to the scarecrow in front of
him, and show him your ocarina and play him the song that you just made up.
This is in Lake Hylia on the right most side of the island where you entered.
Now as Adult Link go back to the scarecrows and show the one there (yes
there is only one there) your ocarina and play him the song you made up as
a kid. He will tell his friend, a scarecrow to come to you whenever you
play it. When Navi flys up to a far-away paltform and turns green play
this song while facing & closest to the platform as possible, then the
scarecrow will appear and you can hookshot over to him, thereby accessing
an out of reach place. Now for the reason why it is so unique. The game
will record the speed at which you play the notes. So go only as fast as
the other melodies go. With the exception of the "Bolero Of Fire". And the
Scarecrow's Song isn't recorded on the Quest Status Subscren but when you
play it it will play over as if it was recorded, strang huh??
You can pick any notes you want but here are the notes I picked:
C-UP, C-UP, C-UP, C-DOWN, C-DOWN, C-DOWN, C-UP, C-UP
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Melodies that warp you somewhere.
This melodies are mentioned in order left to right under the above melodies
(with the exception fo the Scarecrow's Song because it isn't recorded on the
Quest Status Subscreen).
1. Minuet Of Forest-This melody is taught to you by Sheik when you return
to the end of the Sacred Forest Meadow as Adult Link. It will warp you to
the Sacred Forest Meadow. Use this melody to remember your younger days...
Notes:
A, C-UP, C-LEFT, C-RIGHT, C-LEFT, C-RIGHT
------------------------------------
2. Bolero Of Fire-This melody is taught to you by Sheik when you cross the
bridge in the Death Mountain Crater as Adult Link. It warps you to the
Death Mountain Crater. This is the fastest of all melodies. This melody
is dedicated to the power, passion, and love of the heart...
Notes:
C-DOWN, A, C-DOWN, A, C-RIGHT, C-DOWN, C-RIGHT, C-DOWN
------------------------------------
3. Serenade Of Water-Taught to you by Sheik in the room you get the Iron
Boots, in the Ice Cavern, as Adult Link. It will warp you to Lake Hylia.
This melody reflects what is in your heart & soul...
Notes:
A, C-DOWN, C-RIGHT, C-RIGHT, C-LEFT
------------------------------------
4. Requiem Of Spirit-This is taught to you by Sheik after you exit the
Spirit Temple after entering it first, as Adult Link. This melody will lead
a child back to the desert...
Notes:
A, C-DOWN, A, C-RIGHT, C-DOWN, A
------------------------------------
5. Nocturne Of Shadow-This taught to you when you enter Kakariko Village
and the evil shadow spirit has been released in Kakariko Village (after
beating the Fire Temple) by Shiek, as Adult Link. Use this melody to warp
to the entrance of the Shadow Temple. This melody will lead you into a
darkness so dark that it absorbs everything even time...
Notes:
C-LEFT, C-RIGHT, C-RIGHT, A, C-LEFT, C-RIGHT, C-DOWN
------------------------------------
6. Prelude Of Light-This melody is taught to you by Sheik when you enter
the Temple Of Time as Adult Link, after beating the Forest Temple. This
melody will lead you to the very gates of Time's River...
Notes:
C-UP, C-RIGHT, C-UP, C-RIGHT, C-LEFT, C-UP

all enemies around will be stunned! Not all enemies can be stunnes with

Kokiri Forest:
See the opening sequence with the Deku Tree and Navi the Fairy flying around
looking for Link (OUCH! THAT HAD TO HURT NAVI!) After you get up go
outside of your house, and go down and talk to Saria. Then go and try to
go to the Deku Tree, Mido will block you saying you need a Sword and Shield.
Go up to the training area which is in the south end of the map, and you can
go into the house here to learn how to play the game. After your done look
for the 4 stones to the left of the house then enter and crawl thru the hole
behind the 4 stones. Turn left and wait for the boulder to roll psat you
then run around to find an alcove with a treasure chest open the treasure
chest to get the Kokiri Sword, now head back into the training ground. Now
get at least 40 rupees to buy a Deku Shield from the store by running thru
the grass, cutting bushes, throwing rocks, and stealing money from Mido's
House. After your done getting 40 rupees and buying the shield from the
store (the store has a red roof) go back and talk to Mido he let you pass
thru. Watch out for the 3 enemies that attack you along the way to the
Great Deku Tree. If you kill these enemies they will give you a Deku Stick
you might want to get 10 of them (a full supply) before meeting the Deku
Tree, anyway go up and talk to the Deku Tree and answer yes to him. And he
will let you enter him and try to destroy the curse....
Inside The Deku Tree:
Find the ladder and climb up to the 2nd floor, and follow the path
you'll see some vines, enemies and a treasure chest. Ignore the enemies and
get the treasure chest to get the map. Keep going along the path til you
come to a door go thru it. Z-Target the Shrub in this room and raise your
shield with R and the nut he fires at you will bounce back and hit him. Go
up to him and talk to him and he'll give you a heart. In the next room
jump off of your platform onto a floating platform jump immediately to
the other side which contains a chest (before the platform falls) the
chest has a fairy slingshot. Now turn around and face the door you came in.
shoot at the bottom of the ladder hanging down so it will fall down. Now
climb up the ladder and exit this room. Now, use your newly found slingshot
to kill the spiders you saw before and climb up the vines and to the right
and let go of the vines to drop onto a platform, run around the path until
you find a doorway go thru it. In this room take out a deku stick and light
it with the torch and run over to the other side of the room and light the
other torch (press B to swing your sword after using a Deku Stick so it
won't burn down to nothing). Now step on the switch and run over and jump
onto the alcove in the other side watch out for the giant spider. Open the
treasure box and destroy the golden skulltula there. Go back and step on
the switch again and go over to the other side to get a compass. Return
to the first room and find the platform with a heart in front of it. Jump
off of the platform until you get the heart and fall straight down. You'll
break thru the web in the middle of the floor, and go down to B1.
In this room, step on the switch to light a torch then light a
Deku Stick with that torch and run over to the over side (using the walkway
below the water) and burn a web on the other side. Go thru the door that's
revealed. In this room is another Scrub deal with it just like the last
one. Use your slingshot to hit the eye above the next door and go thru.
In this room jump into the water and swim over along side the left wall and
stop when you are right underneath the spiked log. Hold a to dive and
press the underwater switch now go back to the entrance and jump on to the
moving platform and ride it across. Push the block over and climb up the
door to the next room. In this room use your Deku Stick to light all the
torches and move onto the next room. Watch out for spiders (Gohma Larva)
falling from the cieling and light a Deku Stick with the torch and burn
all the webs covering the exits. Crawl thru the hole behind one of the
webs to move on. Now your back in the first room of B1. Push the block
into the water and fall down to the torch you used earlier, light a stick
and run back over to the platform you were on and use the Deku Stick to
burn the web in the floor (attack with the stick by pressing the C-Button
you assigned it to). First, defeat the middle Scrub, the right one, then
the left one. Then walk up to the left one and talk to it and enter the
boss's chamber.
Queen Gohma:
Let Queen Gohma see you. Now wait til she drops down, and Z-Target her
and take out your sligshot and get a Deku Seed ready. Shoot her with the
Deku Seed when her eye turns red then start slashing her with your sword.
(You can also stun ehr by throwing a Deku Nut, but she won't be stunned
for long.) When she climbs up to the ceiling keep her targeted and wait
for her to stop and her eye to turn red again then shoot here with your
slingshot and when she falls down start attacking her again. Pick up the
heart container she drops when she dies and walk into the Blu Light.
Hyrule Castle Town:
After the story sequence with the Deku Tree leave Kokiri Forest.
As you leave Saria will give you her Fairy Ocarina. Then leave Kokiri
Forest and head to the north. Enter the castle that you'll see if you
were heading north like I asked you to, and enter it (you can only at
day). Explore the Market to find the Bazaar and buy a Hylian Shield for
80 rupees. To get money for this item enter the first room you see when
entering the castle town. And bust all the pots there for money anyway,
head up to the castle into the background of the market. And wait for
night to fall and then exit the castle area and re-enter the castle
grounds. And look for a little girl standing next to the vines talk to
her several times until she gives you an egg. Now climb up the vines
that are behind her, and jump over the gate. Move along the path until
you see 2 guards up ahead of you (don't go near them instead) turn left
and run up the hill past the guard to your left and continue forward
and climb up the wall where it is textured, and hed over it and jump
off of it and jump into the moat. Then walk back up onto the ground in
the corner ahead of you, now head down alongside the left side of the
castle until you see a man sleeping, Talon, wake him up with the chicken
if it hasn't hatched already wait for a day. To wake Talon up Z-Target
him in the day and use the chicken that is assigned to one of your items
do this in the daytime. He'll leave in quite a hurry (YEAH! YOU MESSED
UP BAD! RUN TALON!) after he leaves push and pull the boxes to dump them
in the moat. After you dump the second one in the moat, climb on top of it
and jump to the palce where the water comes in (make sure it is day out
when you enter the Castle Courtyard), and crawl into the hole there where
the water comes out (like above make sure it is day when you enter the
Castle Courtyard or you won't be able to go anywhere if it's night, there is
3 guards right in front of you.)
Castle Courtyard:
Run past the guards when they are not looking to end up eventually
in a round area of the courtyard with windows. Go north until you run into
Zelda, answer Yes to all her questions watch the man in black armor. And
head back to the exit and you'll learn Zelda's Lullaby. After your lead
out of the caslte by Impa, go to Lon Lon Ranch.
Lon Lon Ranch:
Go into the house on your left as you enter the ranch and talk to
Malon to play a game of Find The Cuckoos, if you win you'll get a bottle.
Now go to the house corral and follow the song you hear until you see Malon.
Talk to her until she starts talking about the song her mother composed.
Then take out your Ocarina and she'll teach you Epona's Song. After this
is over, go back to Kokiri Forest.
Kokiri Forest:
In the Kokiri Forest go up the vines behind Mido's house and
continue up and enter the Lost Woods from the hollow log.
Lost Woods:
Go this direction from the entrance right, left, right, left,
forward, left, right...notice you are going in the holes where you hear the
Lost Woods theme the loudest. Anyway, once your finished going in those
directions you'll be in the Sacred Forest Meadow.
Sacred Forest Meadow:
When you enter here kill the wolf, and enter the maze and navigate
it, watch out for all the scrubs along the way (I ignore them). Go up the
stairs and talk to Saria to learn Saria's Song. And after you learn it,
exit. (you can get 2 capacity upgrades and 2 heart container pieces in
the lost woods if you want to now, look to the Capacity Upgrade & Heart
Container Pieces Sections for more info.) On the map screen head up to
the Northwest corner of the map, cross the river there and go up the steps
to enter Kakariko Village.
Kakariko Village:
Find all the chicken woman's chickens (refer to the Other Items
section for thier location) and go and talk to the woman standing next to
the pen after throwing all of the chickens in it. She'll give you a bottle.
And go to the graveyard and go to the top of the graveyard where the big
gravestone is stand in front of it and play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce
Symbol and you'll open up a hole that leads to the Royal Family's Tomb
enter the Royal Family's Tomb. Before opening up the tomb you may want to
talk to the Roal Composer Brothers by reading the 2 gravestones next to the
bigger tombstone, this will summon them and they will fight you beat them
and walk up to their remains and they will talk to you. Anyway, enter the
Royal Family's Tomb when your ready.
Royal Family's Tomb:
Go thru the passgae killing some bats along the way and run thru the
chamber with the green pools of fluid (watch out the pools of fluid they can
damage you) run thru this room ignoring all of the zombies you may get
paralyzed by them but they are so slow you'll recover before you get
attacked by them. In this next room, go up to the monolith and read it.
And you'll learn the Sun's Song (it canm turn night into day and day into
night). Now exit this place, play the Sun's Song to freeze the zombies in
that one room (you can do that to other undead enemies like mummies).
Exit the Royal Family's Tomb, and go back into Kakariko Village.
Kakariko Village:
Go up to the entrance to Death Mountain and talk to the guard at the
gate and then show him the letter. you can now enter the Death Mountain
Trail but you can do most of the Young Link's Trading Sequence now. Look
to the "Other Items" section for info on Young Link's Trading Sequence.
When your ready enter the Death Mountain Trail.
Death Mountain Trail:
Follow this trail up to Goron City. Along the way you'll see a
crossroad that leads up to the summit of Death Mountain ignore that fork,
and go the other fork that has the flag next to it to enter Goron City.
Goron City:
Go to the bottom level and stand on the mat and play Zelda's Lullaby
then go inside the door that opens and talk to the Darunia the King Of The
Gorons, then play Saria's Song while standing in front of him and he will
give you the Goron's Bracelet, now you can light up all the torches on the
ground level by using the torch in Darunia's Room, and once they are all lit
up the urn will start to spin go up to the next floor and enter the stairway
on the very left of the second floor and pick up the bomb flower and thru
it into the urn for prizes, the prizes vary. Anyway, exit Goron's City
and go over to the bomb flower that's to the right of the entrance, pick
it up and throw it over the lower stakes on the fence it will blow up the
boulders in front of the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern go down and enter
Dodongo's Cavern.
Dodongo's Cavern:
Note that if you have a Deku Shield equipped and you get hit by a
fire bat or something else that is one fire your Deku Shield will burn.
You might want to equip that Hylian Shield you bought in Hyrule Castle
Town Market. In the first room use a bomb plant to open the doorway. Then
enter into the Main Room, make your way over to the right and use the bomb
plant to kill the eye-laser and blow up the other doorways with the bomb.
Take the doorway that leads to a hallway where exploding lizards live. On
the right wall near the end of the passage is a bombable wall blow it up by
killing an exploding lizard next to a doorway, enter the door that's
revealed, the room ahs some bats and a Gold Skulltula. Now go back to the
passageway and grab one of the statues and pull it over the switch to open
the door enter the door. Go thru the next passage and you'll find yourself
in a room with 2 lizardmen, Z-Target them and wait for them to strike and
hit your shield then jump-slash them. After you injure one with 2 jump-
slashes it will run away and the other one will come after you. Wait for
it to come and do the same to it, once it is injured it will run away, and
the old one will come back now and hit it with 2 more jump-slashes to kill
it. After both of the lizards are dead enter the door that opened, go
down the passage and at the end of the passage pick up the bomb flower and
use it to blow up the bombable wall you passed and blow it up there isn't
anything worth anything in there though. Go into the room where you got the
bomb plant and then use a Deku-Stick to light all of the other torches so
the door will open (you can avoid those lizards easily if you want to kill
them hit them with your sword on their tail.) Enter the door that opened
and you'll be back in the big room, go down the passageway until you step
on a switch a door on the other side will open, head to the other side of
the room but don't enter the door that opened yet. Blow up the doorway
that is next to it and get the map from the chest now enter the door to
that opened. In this room use a bomb plant to blow open the doorway and go
in. Shoot the statue with a Deku Nut and it will come alive throw a Deku
Nut and slash it with your sword then run away from it before it blows up.
Retrieve the compass from the chest and leave the room. In this room, take
the bomb plant thats next to the door and place it in the gap of the row
of bomb flowers around the column, every bomb will go off lowering the
column so you can climb up it, go around the walkway and go thru the next
door this next room has 4 statues 3 of them come alive one of them can
be moved to reveal a ladder look for the one in front of the ladder. And
climb up the ladder and step on the switch there to go thru the door that
opens enter it. This time you'll be back in the main room but you'll be
on a bridge at the very top of it. Go across the bridge to the other side
and go thru the passageway, now you'll be in a room with spike traps, when
you reach the other side of the room pull out the silver block to climb up
the ladder in front of you. Jump to the platform with the bomb-plant on it
and a treasure chest (the chest has 20 rupees in it) grab the bomb-plant
and throw it at the bombable wall at the top of the ladder and it will
blow up the doorway (you need to wait until the bomb is flashing rapidly
then throw it) and then go thru that doorway. Use your slingshot to
shoot the eye above the doorway on the opposite side, it will extinguish
the fire in front of you. Jump over the platforms to the next room. Now
you'll be on suspended platforms and be careful not to fall off. Here you
will have to face 2 more lizard men after they are dead go thru the newly
opened door. Shoot the golden eye in the next room above the doorway on
the opposite side then jump onto the platform where th fire disappeared then
turn left and shoot another eye in the wall and jump across the platforms
and go down the passage and enter the next room. Jump over to the other
platform that is directly in front of you then turn right and open up the
chest that contains (YIPPEEE!) bombs. Don't drop down and blow up the wall
there its a waste of time. Move on down the passageway and step on the
switch this will raise one of the platforms up to the second floor. Turn
to the right and walk across the bridge and drop a bomb in each of the holes
to make each of the eyeholes in the skull to light up, and then it will open
drop down and enter it's mouth and go into the door. In this room go to
your right and enter the block puzzle room. Climb up onto the 2 blocks that
are side by side and pull the ground level block underneath the other one
climb on top of it and push the block off of the platform onto the ground.
Then take the block you just pushed off and push/pull it underneath the
third block in front of the exit now push the 3rd block out of your way.
At the end of the corridor push the block you come to off of the edge of
the corridor. Now push/pull it so it will land into the hole in the center
of the room. This willopen the boss door, go thru it. Bomb the dark spot
in the floor in this room then drop down and face...
King Dodongo:
He is easy. Z-Target him and wait til he opens his mouth and throw a bomb
into it and it will explode bringing him to his knees now take out your
sword and jump-slash him. And he'll roll into a ball and start to roll
either, press R to defend with the Hylian Shield and he roll over you
harmlessly. Or go down right next to the lava pit and wait for him to pass
you. After he has passed you follow him, and toss another bomb into his
mouth when he opens it, and jump-slash him. And repeat the process until he
is dead. Take your heart container from where he rolled into the lava, and
step into the blue light.
Death Mountain Trail:
After Darunia gives you the Fire Ruby, and trys to give you a big-
Goron hug (AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!) head up to where you saw the 2 forks this
time head up the fork that brings you up to the summit of Death Mountain.
To blow up the boulder on the higher platform throw a bomb when it is
about to explode at it it may take a few tries.....
Along the way up boulders will rain down you can either roll-attack to avoid
them or you can defend with your hylian shield when you see one about to
fall on top of you. Once your past that pathway, destroy all 3 skulltulas
while climbing up the wall. And when you get to the top, ignore the owl
and blow up the wall that's to the left of him, to visit the Great Fairy.
(Look to the Great Fairy section for more info). After, you have met her,
talk to the owl and walk up to his talons to fly back down to Kakariko
Village.
Kakariko Village:
Play Saria's Song and talk to her. She will tell you need to go to
Zora's Domain. So exit Kakariko Village and go over the bridge and go along
the river until you see a sign on the other side. Go over to the other side
of the river and walk forward to enter Zora's River.
Zora's River:
Blow up the boulders in your way (after the owl talks to you, Very
Pestering isn't he?) you can buy magic beans from the guy a little way up
after the boulders, he sits next to a place where a magic bean can be
planted. About halfway up the river is some frogs play some songs for them
and they'll give you a purple rupees which is worth 50 rupees. Make your
way up, cross the suspended bridge and you'll come to a waterfall. Jump
onto the platform that is below you and go up to the tablet on the ground
in front of the waterfall and play Zelda'a Lullaby to open up the way to
Zora's Domain.
Zora's Domain:
First, go into the shallow water take out an empty bottle and
try to catch a fish tht swims around a circle of stones there. Go up
the winding stair case past the shop to see King Zora, talk to him, head
thru the left entrance and talk to the Zora there and play the diving game.
Jump off of the waterfall and dive. Now position yourself under a coin he
threw and press and hold A to dive and get it, do this for the other ones
as well. When you get them all go back up and talk to him he'll give you
the Silver Scale. Which allows you to dive deeper. Now look for an under
water doorway in front of the winding staircase and dive down into it to
end up in Lake Hylia.
Lake Hylia:
As soon as you exit from Zora's Domain look at the bottom of the
lake floor until you see a bottle on the floor (Navi flys up to it) dive
down to get it and get on dry land and read its contents, then head back
into the underwater entrance to end back up in Zora's Domain.
Zora's Domain:
Go up the winding staircase and Z-Target King Zora and take out the
bottled letter, he scoot out of the way. Turn right and follow the passage
onto the platform where King Zora sits, and enter the passageway behind him
and follow the passageway to enter Zora's Fountain.
Zora's Fountain:
Take out the bottled fish and use it while in front of Lord
Jabu-Jabu he'll suck up the fish and you with it.
Jabu-Jabu's Belly:
Don't worry about what happened your supposed to be in here. Use
your slingshot to hit the white thing hanging down from the cieling to
open the door ahead of you walk across the platform and enter the next
door (ignore the alcove and the elevator). This place is called the pit
room talk to Princess Ruto and she'll fall down a pit go in after her, talk
to her twice and she'll demand that you carry her, if you lose her she will
show up back here. Now go thru the door behind you and follow this passage
at the end is a room with a switch in the middle of the pit thru Ruto over
to the other ledge on the other side of the pit and step on the switch to
raise the water level and pick her up again. Follow the next passage to a
locked door, shoot the white thing hanging from the cieling to unlock it, &
go thru it in the next room wait for an elevator to come and jump on top of
it and ride it up don't try to jump to the alcove with the switch you can't
reach it. Go thru one of the doors here and you'll be back in the pit room

straight and hug the right wall until you have come to a blocked door, step
on the switch while holding Ruto, this will unblock the door and go thru it.
Put Ruto down in the entry way of the room and go foward and kill all of the
fish to get the Boomerang. This weapon can take care of those electrified
enemies. Anyway, pcik up Ruto exit this room head straight in the next room

head out of this room pick up Ruto (SHADDUP!) and take the first left in the
passage and enter the door, kill all the bubbles using the boomerang and
Z-Targeting in the time limit and get the compass. Head out of this room,
and head back to the room where you got the boomerang, take the side path
right before the door that leads to the boomerang and kill the tentacle that
is here. After the tentacle is dead pick up Ruto leave the room, take a
right, another right and you'll be going down the center path, go thru the
door here and you'll find another tentacle you'll have to kill. After it is
dead pick up Ruto exit the room adn return to the pit room. Fall down the
pit that is right up against the right wall, when you land you'll find 2
gold skulltulas you can use for target practice with your boomerang. Now
go thru the passage and the door behind you to get to BigOcto's room.
First throw Ruto onto the platform ahead of you the platform will head up
into the sky. Now you'll have to fight BigOcto, chase him when he running
away from you and when you are close enough to him throw your boomerang
it will stun him now slash him in the green spot in his back with your sword
and back up from him and if he starts to run toward you thro the boomerang
at him again, then back up again and repeat until he starts running away
from you and when you are close throw your boomerang at him and slash him
with your sword and repeat until he is dead. Jump onto the platform after
he is dead and you'll be liefted up to a room, smack one of the blocks to
still it and jump onit then throw the boomerang at the next one. Use them
as stepping stones to get over to the other door and enter it, in the next
room jump across the gap to the platform and it will lower you to the alcove
with the switch & door you saw at the beggining, pick up one of the crates
and place it on the switch and go thru the door. Kill all the jellyfish
and climb up to the vines to the high platform. Now you can see a white
thing behind a wall, Z-Target the white thing and throw th boomerang so it
goes behind the barrier and hits the switch and it will open a door climb
down and enter the door and face Berinade....
Berinade:
He is tough, first Z-Target him and constantly walk around him in circles
to avoid getting shocked. First, destroy the tenctacles suspending him from
the cieling and he will drop down, then destroy some of the jellyfish that
are circling around him protecting him with your boomerang, then hit him
directly with your boomerang, and run up to him take out your sword and
jump slash him constantly until he recovers. Sometimes he'll drop down in
the ground and kill all of the jellyifsh and he'll rise back up, and start
attacking him again. Until he's dead when he is grab the heart container

Forest Temple:
In the outside room with the 2 wolves climb up the vines to the
right and drop down onto the tree and go get the key from the chest. Enter
the door back on the ground and go thru the hallway, now you'll be in a
room I call the Main Room, you'll see some ghost making off with torches.
Go straight and enter the door on the other side, up the stairs. Go thru
the passage into the next room, kill both of these Stalfos quickly before
they can revive themselves. When they are dead you'll be rewarded with a
second small key. Return to the big room. Go to your right you'll be in
a small corridor with a blue block in it, play the Song Of Time to get rid
of the blue block and go thru the door. In this room make your way to

Room (the room you were in before you got the map) go back into the Main
Room, Go thru the locked door to your right. Kill the skulltula with your
hookshot and go thru the door in the small hallway. Now your in the Block
Puzzle room, climb up the 2 ladders and push and pull the first block
in the directions indicated by the arrows on the floor, when it drops down
a tone wil be sounded indicated you've solved part of a puzzle. Go up the
ladder you passed while pushin the first block, up here you'll see another
block push it until it stops moving, then go back, take a left fall down
and go back to where the first block was. When you bump into the second
block push it until you hear another tone, now climb on top of it, and
climb up the wall next to it. Follow the passageway around to a ladder
climb up it and enter the door in front of you, this hallway is the West
Twisted Hallway. In the room after the hallway watch for falling hands and
hop across the stones to a locked door, open it and climb up the stairs and
enter the door at the top to enter the Stalfos room. You have got a tough
battle here. Deatroy the first Stlalfos you see and 2 more will come,
unlike the other one if you take to long to destroy them both the one you
destroyed will come back to life. Just try to kill them quickly. After the
battle is over you'll get a chest inside of the chest is a bow and arrows.
Now go back (NOT FORWARD) to the stairway you enterd this room from. Now
in the stairway room, shoot all of the pictures with an arrow (keep your
distance while doing it or the potrait will disappear) after all 3 of the
pictures are shot a ghost will go to the bottom of the stairs, go down and
kill the ghost (it's just like the Composer Brothers). You'll be rewarded
with a small key, and one of the torches will be restored. Go back to the
end of the Block Puzzle Room, now shoot the eye above the door to the
West Twisted Hallway the hallway will straighten. Enter and go thru the
hallway in the room with the falling hands drop down and open the chest to
get the boss key then fall down into the hole on the floor, go thru the
passage and now you are on th balcony of the West Plant room. Kill the
plant in your way and enter the door to the left (not straight ahead) in
the room you'll fight a hand monster (Wallmaster) it will split up into 4
parts once its destroyed destroy all 4 parts before they regenerate. And
your reward is a key, exit this room, go thru the door to your right. And
you'll be back in the Block Puzzle Room. Go to the West Twisted Hallway
and shoot the eye above the door to make it twisted again, and go to the
Ghost Stairway, the Satlfos Room and finnaly thru the other door in the
Other Ghost Stairway. Here you'll face the blue ghost. Summon it in the
same way as the last. Kill her, and you'll get another flame and the
compass as a reward. Head to the top of the stairs and go thru the locked
door to end up in the East Twisted Room, go right and you'll be in the East
Twisted Hallway (which is straight). Go thru the locked door at the end of
the hallway and you'll be in a rotating block room, jump on one of the
blocks and draw an arrow, wait until you are lined up with the torch and
fire your arrow it will melt the ice around the eye and close it at the same
time (COOL HUH). Now the twisted hallway will be twisted so go thru it.
Fall down the hole in the room, and you'll be in the Fallin Cieling Room
wait until the cieling goes up and run for the switch on the floor (watch
out or the Spiders) stay on the switch til the cieling falls (and you won't
be hurt and wait until the cieling rises again and run for the door and
enter it. This is the Poe Picture Puzzle (say that 7 times fast!) Room.
Shoot the picture on the wall to get teh puzzle going you have a few minutes
to pull and push the blocks together to make a picture of the ghost in the
picture (1 of the block is a decoy so ignore it). If you don't organize
them in time the blocks will rotate to a new side and you'll be giving more
time, once you put the picture together you'll fight the 3rd Ghost, beat
her up and enter the door, go thru the passage and you'll be back in the
Main Room. Go to the center of the torches and you'll have to fight the
final Poe sister. When she appears around you watch closely, one of the
ghosts will do a 360 spin and the others won't. The one that does the spin
is the real one, shoot her with an arrow. And wait for her to show up again
and repeat until she is dead. When the eleveator comes up jump into it to
be taken into the Rotating Room. Push one of the corners of the room to
rotate it and go thru the 2 passage ways on either side to step on any
switches kill any spider or get any treasure. Just make sure you are
pushing the same corner, you'll eventually get to the boss room after a few
rotates and if there is a cage over the entrance. You'll have to go and
push the room again and find the switch you didn't press, in one of the
entrances. Anyway, enter the Boss Room and walk up to the center of the
room with the triforce symbol on it. Now try to go back out and you'll be
blocked, now you'll have to fight....
Phantom Gannon:
He has 2 phases. In the first phase he will ride out of a picture.
Pull back an arrow and spin aroudn scanning the room for Gannon riding out
one of the pictures, one of the Gannons is a fake the real one rides
slightly to the right of the path in the picture. Right when Phantom Gannon
comes out shoot him with an arrow, he'll retreat back into the painting. If
he makes to the center of the room, your in for a BIG hurt. After you shoot
him 3 times. He'll get off of his horse. When he fires a magical ball at
you swing with your sword to reflect it back at him when it hits him he'll
fall to the ground run up to him and slash him with your sword. Til he
gets back up. Watch out though because he will sometimes hit the ball
back at you just keep on volleying it back and forth until it hits him. The
more it is volleyed the more it will hurt too. When Phantom Gannon is near
death he will sometimes attack with a heavy stab dodge it you can't block
it. Remembers me of Agahnim from Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
Anyway, to kill him keep on hitting him with his one enrgy balls, and then
slashing him with your sword. After he is dead grab the heart, and step
into the light.
Goron City Revisted:
After the story squence with the Deku Tree Sprout and Saria. Head
over to Goron City. You'll find a Goron rolling around on the 2nd floor,
use a bomb to stop him and talk to him he'll give you the Goron's Tunic.
Now go down to Darunia's room and pull the statue in it, enter the Death
Mountain Crater.
Death Mountain Crater:
Use the hookshot on the bridge in front of you to make it over to
the other side. Walk down the bridge and Shiek will appear he will tech you
the Bolero Of Fire, after he leaves. Turn to the left and go down the
passage, drop down int the hole ad enter the Fire Temple.
Fire Temple:
Go up the stairs hang a left and go thru the door. After Darunia
leaves, start hopping over the stones and step on the switch on the left
side and go inside of the cage and talk to the Goron and get the key from
the chest. Exit the room, go stright and enter the locked door. I'll call
this the bridge room, go to the center of the bridge and turn left, and
keep on jumping over stones til you get to a hallway and a door enter the
hallway and free the Goron and get the key from the chest. Now exit this
room, and go to the edge of the platform you are on turn around, and play
the Song Of Time to move the block. Climb up and enter the door to find
a Gold Skulltula. Anway, exit this room with the Gold Skulltula, and
go staright ahead to the other side (the right side) and blow up the wall
there and enter the door and free another Goron and open up the chest that
contains a key. Exit that room, and go back into the bridge room, head
along the right wall til you get to a locked door enter it. Now your in
the Fire Elevator room. Climb up the chain link wall, and fall down to
where the movable block, move the block forward til it falls down. And
fall down on top of the block. The fire jet will lift you up to the next
floor, enter the locked door in this new room and you'll be in a green
room. Kill all the torch slugs and hop across the ledges until you get
to one with the switch and the blocks, push the block forward until it falls
off the ledge drop down and pull it until it stops then climb on top of
it and jump to the ledge that has the chain link fence next to it. Climb up
the fence and go down to the platform that is above the one with the switch
go to the very edge on the side against the wall and light a bomb and drop
it. Now go back up to where the fire is the bomb will explode, hit the
switch, and extinguish the fire climb up the fence and drop off and enter
the door. Now you are in the Rolling Boulder Maze. Keep along the outer
wall of the room and go into every alcove to find 1 Gold Skulltula, 2 Gorons
and 2 Small Keys. Now go along the outer right wall until you come to a
locked door (the door may be hard to see) enter it. Shoot at the eye in
this room with an arrow to open a door leading to the map. Back in the
previous room walk carefully along the pathway and open the locked door.
Enter it. You are no in the Fire Barrier room. Walk across the small stone
path and jump on to the fence, a Wall Of Fire will follow you, just keep on
going straight ahead til you come to the end of the room, and jump on the
platform to the right of you climb up on ech of the platforms to enter the
Upper Level Of The Rolling Boulder Maze. First, to your right is a high
platform go to teh right edge of the platform you are standing on, play
the Scarecrow's Song and hookshot to the Scarecrow. Now turn around and
hookshot to the target the platform will lift you up. Now go thru the door
in that room, and you'll be in a donut shaped room, in here is a Gold
Skulltula, and 200 rupees in a chest sorrounded by fire, step on teh switch
and then run up to the chest (using the hookshot along your way) and open
it to get teh 200 ruppees. Anyway, head back to the entrance to the Upper
Level Of The Rolling Boulder Maze, and jump across to the platform with the
slug on it, kill it, and bomb the darkened square in the floor. Climb down
the hole to find another Goron and a key. No go back up and hop over to the
switch, and step on it make your way over to the other side of the room, and
you'll see the caged Goron gert his key. Now, go back to the entrance of
this room, into the Fire Barrier Room. Now, jump onto the platform in front
of you, and keep on the left edge of the platform and jump up to the high
ledge, the ledge seems so high you won't be able to make the jump) but you
can make it. Once on top enter the locked door, go thru the short corridor
and you'll be in the Fire Maze. Be aware of fake doors in here. Hop down
and walk slowly to the right so you don't get hurt by the flames that sprout
up and enter the door behind the 2 rolling boulders. And get the compass
from this room, go back into the Fire Maze. Now go to your left, and walk
slowly past the pillar that spews fire. and enter the locked door in front
of you, you'll have to dodge some Sprouting Fires. Go thru the passage and
ignore the caged Goron for now. And enter the door on teh other side. Now
you will be on the far right side of the Fire Maze step on the switch there
and run (its hard to hurry but you have to do it) thru the maze to the right
(where the fire disappeared) and get to the fake door in the hallway.
Blow up the fake door and etner the real door behind it. In this room
you'll face a Flare Dancer. To beat him Z-Target hm and throw abomb at him
and slash the round black thing that comes out. Keep the black thing Z-
Targeted and follow it around and jump slash it when it stops to turn the
other way. Keep it up and he'll be dead in no time, watch out when he
skates around, stay on the steps in the room to avoid him. Anyway, once he
is dead jump on the platform the pillar of fire was on. It will lift
you up to the second floor enter the door here and you'll be in the second
green room. Drop a bomb that you saw when you entered from the platform
above so it falls down next to it, blows up, and activates the switch now
climb up the chain link and enter the door up there. Now you'll be in
another donut shaped room. Step on the switch at the foot of the stairs to
extinguish a fire for a time...run up the stairs but be careful not to fall
down in the center of stairs. Once your up on the platform that has the
chest on it run up to it press A to open it, and you'll get the Megaton
Hammer. Go back down to the palce where the switch was and find the block
with the face on it stand on top of it and swing the Megaton Hammer, you'll
fall down into a room with a statue stand on one side of teh statue and
swing the Megaton Hammer to knock away the statue to reveal a door, go thru
it. Watch out for the fire bats in this room, once there dead. Swing your
Megaton Hammer so it hits the face block right before the pit. The pit
will become a stairway, at teh bottom of teh stairway is a switch and a door
grab one of teh crates behind you and go down to the switch, step on it, and
place the crate on it and go thru the door. In this room hit the face
square with your hammer and drop down, now go up to the rusty switch and
jump over to the other platform, go to where the platform is risen a little
(go next to it) and hit it with your hammer the raised (area which was the
pillar hanging in the room where you met Darunia) platform will now fall
down into the area whre you met Darunia making it possible for you to
reach the Boss Door, but don't drop down there yet. Go back to the platform
with the rusted switch hit it with your hammer and enter the door, play the
Song Of Time to move the blue block down. Jump to the other side and hit
the switch with your hammer (the switch was where the blue block was). It
will opne the Goron's Cage below you dorp down and get teh key fom the chest
inside of his cell. Now go back to the entrance of the temple. Go to the
statue thats to the right of the stairs, destroy it with your hammer and go
thru the locked door. Now kill all of the enemies in this room, go into
the next room and watch out for the floor tiles, and kill the Shield Eater
with some arrows, and kill the Gold Skulltula behind him. Enter the next
door, ana you'll face the second Flare Dancer kill him the same way you did
the other one. Go thru the next door (after the Flare Dancer), smash the
rusted switch with your hammer, and get the boss key. Go back to the room
where you met Darunia, and jump straight across to the boss door open it
(that pillar that was in teh center of this room ought to be done in the
floor making another platform for you to jump across, unless you didn't pay
attention to what I said....ARRRRGGGHHH!) and in this room you'll face the
Subterranean Serpent Volvagia.
Volvagia:
This boss requires patience. He has 3 attacks, 1 he'll stick his
head out of a hole and swipe at you, 2 he will try to breath fire on you
while following you, 3 he will try to drop rocks on you. He alternates
between swiping at you with his head out and perform one of the other 2
attacks. Also, sometimes he will seem to come out of one hole but then
change his mind and start to come out another (you can tell what hole is
coming out of by the fire spewing out of the hole) sometimes he'll change
his mind 3 or 4 times before coming out of a hole. Now, the way to beat
him is when he pops his headn out to swipe at you smack his head with your
hammer, then Z-Target his head and let him have a jump slash. When he does
his other attacks just z-target him and hold out your shield. When he
breathes fire at you circle around the outside ring of the island staying
ahead of him. If you have the Biggoron's sword equipped you can't hold
your shield, just bring the hookshot out thn press R to defend with your
shield. Once youve hit at least 3 jump slashes from the Biggoron's Sword
he'll go down. Grab the heart container and head into the light.
Collect Stuff:
Now that you ahve the hammer you can get almost anything in the game
almost all the Heart Container Pieces, there is a Great Fairy in Death
Mountain Crater. Head up to where there are a lot of rocks blowcking an
entrance and hit them TWICE with your Megaton Hammer to break them, and
enter the fountain and get a Double Magic meter. Anyway, when your ready
go to Zora's Domain again.
Zora's Domain:
Go thru Zora's River, play Zelda's Lullaby, enter Zora's Domain go
up to King Zora's chamber and notice he is frozen. Go to Zora's Fountain.
Zora's Fountain:
Go up to where Jabu-Jabu used to be and follow the path of ice
platforms (you can get an HCP on the way) and jump into the opening at
the end to enter the Ice Cavern.
Ice Cavern:
Note this stage doesn't have a boss of any sort, basically you just
want to get the HCP, and the Iron Boots. So I'll only mention those to
places in here. Follow the path til you get to a revolving spiked thing,
kill all the statues in here to open the way forward, go forward. Now you
should be in the Helicopter Blade made out of ice (Blade Room), you will
have to run around in the Blade Room collecting all the Silver Ruppees, and
then a door willopen enter it and follow the passage to a room with lots
of bats and ice bridges. Get to the blue fire fill all your bottles with
the fire (you need to carry at least 1 out with you.) Go back to the blade
room, in this room there are exits that are covered by ice melt the one to
thee east and enter the passage to come to another blue fire torch, and the
HCP your looking for. Break all of the icicles in front of you to get to th
blue fire using your sword, fill up all your bottles with blue fire. Get th
HCP to your right behind the icicles, and you can also get a compass here.
But, who cares. Refill all your bottles with blue fire again. And go back
to the blade room. Go to the west and melt the ice there to reveal another
passage enter it and push the block in this new room in the following
directions (they correspond to the direction you were facing when you first
walked in): Left get the sivler ruppee, forward and get another silver
ruppee, right, back towards the entrance and get another silver rupee, then
push the block off one of the ledges and a new one will appear, push it
forward, right and jump into the alcove melt the red ice with blue fire to
get the last silver ruppee, then push the block off into the void and push
the new one Left, forward, right, back, and left to get to the exit, go thru
it. Use some blue fire t melt the red ice in the passage and enter the ice
door beat the wolf to recieve the Iron Boots. Sheik will come out and teach
you the Serenade Of Water. Now, remember you need at least 1 Blue Fire to
defrost King Zora if you have it (if you don't go get another one) exit the
Ice Cavern and use it on King Zora to defrost him talk to him and you'll
get the Zora's Tunic. Warp to Lake Hylia using the Serenade Of Water.
Lake Hylia:
Run forward and jump into the water in front of you, put on Zora's
tunic and equip the Iron Boots to sink to the bottom. Walk along the lake
floor, and shoot the diamond above the doorway to open up the way to the
Water Temple.
Water Temple:
Drop into the water swim along the right wall to a ledge. Equip
your iron boots, and drop to the bottom. Find the tunnel with torches on
either side of it and go in there and meet Ruto. Walk to the center of the
room after she leaves, and take off you Iron Boots and float up to the top,
Zelda's Lullaby in front of the triforce symbol that's there and the water
level will lower. Got thru the door here and get the map from the room.
Go back out and drop down, and open up the door by lighting the torches.
Go in the door and kill teh Clam Guys. Go back into the main room, follow
the left skip the first door, push the block all the way foward until it
drops down, jump down and go down the passageway then up the other side.
Now hit the switch and jump onto the geyser and jump over to the other side
and enter the door, equip your Iron Boots and sink down, stand on the piping
uder the water across from the stone ahead. Aim your hookshot to hit the
sqitch in the statue's mouth, then turn and fire the hookshot at the hooksho
target inside the underwater passage. Go down the passage and float up and
grab the key, then hit the shock switch that's in there to reopen the gate
and use your Iron Boots to walk back out. Take off the boots and float back
out of the whirlpool and go back to the main room. You'll need to use the
hookshot to get out of the hole at the end of the tunnel. Stand on the
block then look up adn you'll see a hookshot target you can use. You should
have 2 keys to use. Go to the tower in the middle of the main room and find
the locked door and go through it. Use your hookshot to go up to the ledge
above you then play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the triforce symbol to
raise the water level. Now put on your Iron Boots and drop back down.
Underneath where the block was is now a hole. Drop down and follow this
corridor and you'll end up in a room with a shock switch. Hit with your
hookshot from a safe distance and a bunch of enemies will come falling
out. Kill the rocks with your hookshot, and kil all the clams to open
up the other grate, take off your Iron Boots and float up to get another
key. Go back to the main room and go thru the upper door that has pots
in front of it and go in there. Follow the passage use your hookshot to
get over the spikes then use your hookshot again on the cieling to get
up in the room, stand next to the front of the chest and fire an arrow at
then open the chest in front of you. Go back out into the main room, jump
in the water put on your Iron Boots, float down to the bottom and go thru
the room where you met Ruto take off your Iron Boots and float up. Then,
bomb the wall in here to get another key then drop back into the water put

and swim to the door thats locked open it. Stand on the geyser and shoot
the switch with an arrow to be carried up to the next floor. Go thru the
door her, and your up next to the 3rd triforce mark, play Zelda's Lullaby
in front of the triforce to raise the water level to it's highest point.
Now drop into the water and swim left to a locked door and go thru it.
Hop down 2 platforms and this platform will move, jump onto one of the lower
moving platforms on the other side and use your hookshot to climb up onto
the higher moving platforms keep on doing this until you reach the top and
go thru the locked door. In this room shoot the switch with an arrow and
to raise the water and hookshot to the other statue nearest to you, shoot
the switch again to lower the water level, and use the hookshot target on
the opposite wall, climb up over the statue next to you, and shoot the
switch again, hookshot over to the statue and shoot the switch again, now
stand on top of the statue's head and shoot the switch a final time to
be lifted to a passage, watch out for the spikes and the shield-eater in
this passage use your hookshot to get over the spikes and enter the next
room. Go staright forward in this room and go up to the locked door. Then
go back to the island you just past to fight Dark Link (If you've played
The Legend Of Zelda 2 for the NES, you fight a character like this at the
end of the game..). This guy isn't all that tough, stay on the island you
are on, and take out your hammer and whack him with it. He'll appear
behind you turn around and whack him with your hammer again, he'll appear
behind you again, repeat this process til he is dead. When he is dead enter
the door that opened and open the chest in the new room to get the Longshot.
Behind the chest play the Song Of Time to remove the blue block. And drop
down into the Water Whirlpool Passage. Put on your Iron boots and fall
into the water. Walk past all the whirlpools if you start to slide down
into a whirlpool, just keep on pressing forward, anyway, once you see the
golden eye shoot it with an arrow then use your longhsot on the chest to
pass the last 2 whirlpools open the chest to get a key. Now follow the
passage and you'll be back in the room with the 4 whirlpools and all the
Tek-Tites. Go back to the main room, sink down into the room where you met
Ruto float up (by taking off the Iron Boots) and play Zelda's Lullaby in
front of the triforce symbol to lower the water to it's lowest level then
go back into the main room, enter the tower, and play Zelda's Lullaby in
front of the triforce symbol to raise the wter to its middle level. Exit
the tower. Find the room that is blcoked off by a grate and shoot the eye
below it to raise teh grate and longshot over to the passage, follow the
passage until you hit a movable block on your right, pull it to the left
until it stops then go down top the end of that passage, hookshot up to the
hole in the cieling and you'll be back in the main room, drop down shoot
the eye with an arrow again and hookshot into the passage. When you hit
the block now push it forwad out of your way and turn right and get the key

then go back to the first hole, enter the passage and push the block out
all the way onto the underwater switch the water level will raise, and go
thru the door you did not come in (it has steps in front of it). In the
new room step on the switch then jump onto the geysers over to the other
side and enter the door there. Here, avoid the boulder rolling past and
head right (upstream), when you walk into deep water put the Iron Boots on
and sink down, go thru the passage and flaot up (take the Iron Boots off
you should know this by now) and enter the locked door and get the Boss
Key. Go back to the main room. Float up to the door with the block
floating in front of it and enter and raise the water level to it's highest
point. Look for one of those dragon head statues, and hookshot over to it.
Enter the door behind that statue and walk up the sharp incline (start
climbing when the blade closest to you is on the right of the passage and
start walking), open the door in front of the sharp incline in this room
walk up to the water and you'll get a warning about the water, jump on
one of the platforms and you'll face Morpha.
Morpha:
When the boss starts to morph into a tentacle get far away from it,
and when it travels up the length of the tentacle when the tentacle is
horizontal use the longshot to pull it out and jump slash it. You can also
use Din's Fire to dissolve teh tentacle then attack it. Watch it carefully
after you hit it may stop spinning around for a while when it does pull it
to you iowht your longshot and hit it with your sword. After it is damaged
enough it will start using 2 tentacles, you can hear when it creates 2
tentacles so listen carefully. Be careful not to get caught by the tentacle
or you are in for a big hurt. Once the boss dies, get your Heart Container
and step into teh blue light and get the Water Medallion.
Return To Kakariko Village:

to warp to the Temple Of Time, there go back in time and go back to Kakariko
Village play the Song Of Storms inside teh windmill to empty the well of
water, drop down into the well outside to enter the Well Of The 3 Features.
Well Of The 3 Features:
This level is nasty, so I'll mention only the 3 Gold Skulltulas, and
The Lens Of Truth. From the entrance go down the hallway, thru the wall at
the dead-end (yes thru the wall, in this dungeon there are invisible floors,
pits, and doors) now this is called the Main Room. Walk straight forward
thru the wall around the 2 poles crossed that are sticking out of the ground
and thru the wall ahead of you. Now play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the
statue to lower the water level. Go back to where you entered the main room
Drop down into the pit there and crawl thru the hole, kill the skulltula and
climb up the wall and go thru the next door, and fight teh boss. He is easy
let a hadn grab you when it does mash the buttons to escape and then, stand
still and wait for the big white thing that walks around to come close to
you when it does it will lower it's head slash it's head like crazy. It
will retreat then let yourself be grabbed by one of the hands, get out of
it's grasp then attack the White Walking Thing's head again keep on
repeating this process until it is dead. Then a chest will appear open the
chest and get the Lens Of Truth (this item can see invisible items floors,
doors, etc.) use the Lens of Truth behind the chest you got it from to see
another chest open it to get 200 rupees. Now you can leave if you want to
or you can read on to get the 3 gold skulltulas in here. First, exit this
room climb thru the hole and climb up the vines to get out of the pit. Now
go down the left hand path while using your lens to see an alcove with a
chest in it open the chest to get a key. Leave the alcove and go back
towards the starting point, keep going and you'llll hit a left turn, turn
and use your lens and you'll see another alcove with a key in a chest, get
the key. And continue down the corridor and you'll see a shiedl-eater
behind a grate, directly across from it is a wall you can walk thru, go thru
this new room (call this room the X room) by going thru the wall straight
ahead of you. You'll see a grate ahead of you walkl toward it fall down the
pit go forward and climb up the vines there, and enter the door at the top.
In this room light a Deku Stick with the one flaming torch, now go up to the
upper left corner coffin and light the torch that's there to open it, 2 bats
will come out of it. Beat them and look in the coffin they were in, get the
key inside. Now go back to the X room by going thru the wall, go thru the
left locked door to come to a plant and the 1st gold skulltula. After
killing the gold skulltula, exit this room. Now go over to the other side
of the X Room and open up the other lockd door that's there kill all the
bats in here and use your Lens Of Truth to see an invisible floor across
the pit. Walk across it over to the second gold skulltula. Now leave the
room after getting the Gold Skulltula, turn left and walk thru the wall,
turn left and walk down the passage, stay away from the picture in the wall
(there is a pit in front of it) turn right at the picture in the wall,
crawl thru the hole at the dead end, open the locked door in this room, use
the Lens Of Truth in this room to see all the pits, kill all the bats, and
the eye laser thing and go thru the door on the opposite wall from where
you entered. In this room is the last gold skulltula and the shield eater,
kill the shield eater and kill the gold skulltula and collect the token
it drops (of course you have to collect the token after killing it al the
time.) now use the Prelude Of Light to warp back to the Temple Of Time and
change back into Adult Link. Then play the Nocturne Of Shadow to warp to
the entrance of the Shadow Temple. Use Din's Fire to light all the torches
that are down the steps. And the entrance to the Shadow Temple will open,
enter the Shadow Temple.
Shadow Temple:
You need the Lens Of Truth for this level (thats why it's above).
Anyway, go down the hall and turn the corner hookshot over to the otehr side
walk thru the tile in front of you and turn left using the Lens Of Truth
looking for any places where you can walk into the wall, walk into the wall
where you can, go thru the hall and enter the door. Use the Lens Of Truth
while heading to the right until you see an opening enter it and go thru
the door in the passage to fight a zombie and 2 bats. You'll get the Map.
Go back out and keep heading to the right with the Lens adn enter the next
opening go down this tunnel and you'll end up in a another room like the
last the opening to go thru next is in the corner on the right with a pot
beside it, enter the door in the passage to fight another Well boss, kill
him and get the Hover Boots. Now go back to the room with the big statue
in the center of it. Use the lens and look at all of the skulls on top of
the columns make a note of the one that doesn't disappear then push the
statue by pushing the block that is sticking out of the bottom and push
it so it faces the skull that didn't disappear (the skull of truth changes
everytime), and equip the Hover Boots and run over the gap pull yourself
up and enter the new passage. In this passage go down untilyou get to a
room with 4 doors. Go thru the wall on your right and kill the mummies and
get the compass from the chest that appears. Go back to the 4-door room
and go over to the door that's straight ahead enter it. Collext all the
silver ruppees in here to open up an alcove enter the alcove for a key.
Go back to the 4-door room. Blow up the remaining wall and enter the locked
door. In this passage watch out for all of the skulltulas. After the
guillotine blades turn left and enter a new room. In this room wait for a
guillotine blade to fall down run up against it and then run underneath it
to avoid getting damaged. Anyway, make it thru all of the blades (watch
out for the flaming skull near the end) and turn on your lens, turn left
and hover over the invisible platforms (do this quickly and ignore the
Stalfos) over to the door enter it. In this room kill the Shield-Eater and
the 3 bats, and an alcove will open up go into the alcove and get a gold
skulltula. Go back to where the Stalfos was (and is there still) with your
back in front of the guillotines turn right and hover onto the rasing and
falling platform when it is at its lowest point. Then go up to the edge of
the platform and when it is highest hover off and you'll land on a platform
with silver rupees 2 blades, and a eye-laser. Collect all the silver
rupees (one is where the eye-laser is blow him up with a bomb and get it)
then enter the door that opened. Go along the passage until you come to a
room with falling spikes. Use your Lens and see a block in the left wall
pull it out and push it under the spikes to keep them from turning you into
a pincushion, there is a gold skulltula under the 2nd spiked platform.
Anyway, pull the block all the way to the back of the room, climb on top of
it and turn left and hover onto the next platform. And then wait for the
spiked platform to fall down and get on top of it and walk over to the
other side and step on the switch that's there then go over to the other
platform (which is above the place where you got the block) and open the
chest there for a key. Go back thru the passage you came it and enter the
room with the guillotines. Look to the left with your lens you should
see invisible platforms, go straight and go up the ramp to the falling
blade, and hover onto the 2 invisible platforms and then to the locked door
enter it. Use your Lens in this room to see some invisible spikes, kill the
2 zombies here to make a rupees chest appear, collect all the silver ruppees
to make a door open. Enter the door that opened, kill the bats to reopen
the door and throw a bomb flower into the skull and it will blow up giving
up a key. Grab the key, and exit this room. In the room with the invisible
spikes, use your lens look up at the cieling above the platform behind the
ruppee chest. You'll see a hookshot target, hookshot to the target and
enter the locked door there. In this passage but on your iron boots, and
walk over to the edge of the pit. Take off the iron boots and wait for the
fan in front of you to stop blowing then hookshot over to the other side
of the pit using the horizontal wood pole in the cieling. Go forward after
getting over here and fall down to a place with 3 fans, put your iron boots
back on and walk in front of the 3rd fan (watch out for the fireballs the
eye will shoot at you, you can kill it by shooting an arrown into it while
it is open.) and when it starts to blow equip your Hover Boots and walk
off of the ledge you'll be pushed thru the wall and into a passage with a
door, enter the door. Once you enter this room look to your right, put a
bomb on top of the dirt pile to blow it up and use the Lens to see an
invisible chest, open it to get a key. Now play the Song Of Sun to freeze
the mummies and kill them both you can get teh chest that appears but it
only has 5 rupees. Anyway, enter the locked door. Pull the block in this
room onto the green path then pull/push it until it falls down into the
impression in front of the ladder climb on the block then climb up the
ladder. And jump onto the boat lay Zelda's Lullaby while standing on the
triforce symbol on the ship to get it moving along the trip you'll have to
fight 2 Stalfos. When you get a message from Navi that the ship is sinking
jump off the left of the ship. There is a huge canyon here, enter the door
on the side of the canyon you are on. Use your Lens while walking thru
this maze, you came in the east door, the north door has a gold skulltula
3 skulls that give you some ruppees when destroyed, the south door has a
invisible hand monster (use Lens to kill it) and when it's dead you'll get
a key, the west door has 2 moving spiked walls use Din Fire to burn them
and kil the zombies and get the boss key from the chest. Once you have
the boss key and the small key go back into the room with the canyon. Go
down to the end of the side and look for 2 pots go in between the 2 pots
and shoot one arrow at the bombs on the other side to blow up the statue it
will fall down over the canyon to create a brdige across the canyon. Enter
the locked door on this side. And in this room, use your lens to see the
invisible walkways, use them to get over to the locked door use the Boss
Key to open it. Fall down the hole in this next room and you'll face
Bongo Bongo.
Bongo Bongo:
One of the most weirdest bosses in this game if you ask me. Stand
far away from his hands and Z-Targer one of them and shoot it with an arrow
and Z-Target the other hand and shoot it, too. Use the Lens to see Bongo
Bongo's head start charging a spin slash and when he comes up to you hit
him with your spin slash then Z-Target him and jump-slash him constantly.
Until he gets back up then shoot his hands again, and smack him with another
spin-slash and jump slash him again, repeat until he is dead. Get your
heart container and step into the blue light.
Hyrule Field:
After the story sequence summon Epona, and ride over to the west
side of the map and enter teh Gerudo Valley Area.
Gerudo Valley:
If you speed up Epona enough she can jump over the broken bridge.
Ride Epona into the next area here let one of the guards see you. Now,
when you are in the cell. Look up at your window use your hookshot to latch
on to the wooden shade. Fall down to ground level and enter the door that's
right next to you. Follow the passage until you see a carpenter in a cell
talk to him and you'll be attacked by a Gerudo Guard...its easy to beat her
just wtach out for her zpin attack which can kill you in one hit. I
personally just Z-Targeted her and then walked around here waiting for her
to do a spin attack then I let her have it with a jump slash. You can use
a lot of tactics for this fight. Anyway, after she dies pick up the key
she leaves, then use it to open the door to the cell the carpenter is in,
talk to him and he escape. Contiue on past the cell, and go back outside
again, turn left and go in the door. Turn right at corner and you'll see
a heda of a guard poking out from behind the crate down the corridor shoot
her with an arrow. Walk to where she was and look down the hall, shoot the
2 guards in this room, and go up the ramp on the far side and exit to the
outside, turh right and drop down and enter the door and go thru the door
there. Now just stand in the passage you are in with an arrow cocked and
shoot the guard when she walks by, now go right, left, right and you'll be
at the second carpeter's cell, talk to him beat the gurad and free him. Go
back out where you came and drop down one level. Turn left, climb the vines
and go thru the door that is STRAIGHT AHEAD OF YOU. This room has the 3rd
carpenter's cell, talk to him beat the gurad and free him. Go back out the
door you came in again. Shoot all the gurards with arrows that are
wandering around on the ground. Drop down to teh ground, and go left and go
thru the door that is right next to the Gerudo in white clothes (don't
worry about her). In this room you'll find the fourth carpenter, free him
and you then talk to the second-in-command of the Gerudos. She wil let you
in the group which means you can wander around wherever you want, in the
Gerudo Fortress. When you are ready you can try out teh Gerudo Training
Ground, you can get the Ice Magical Arrows from the Gerudo Training Ground.
But they are not nesscessary to beat the game. If you are not interested in
them skip past the next section.
Gerudo Training Ground:
Talk to the Gerudo in white clothes (who I told you not to be afraid
of her) and pay her 10 rupees to enter the Gerudo Training Ground. In the
entrance room of the training ground open the chest, and shoot the eye above
the entrance you came in to reveal another chest open it. Then enter one of
teh doors with lion's head above that are to the left or right. Take the
left. In the first room kill the Stalfos and get teh key from the chest
enter the next room, collect all the silver ruppees in this room some are
in the corridors with the boulders and hookshot over the fire to the door
that just opened and enter it. In this room kill all the wolves for some
arrows, look with the Lens Of Truth at the wall above the fake door and
you'll seee a hookshot target and a passage. Hookshot into the passage and
step on the switch, follow the path to another door and a small key. Go
back to teh room with the fake door, there is a big gray block here you need
the Silver Guantlets to move it since you don't have them, ignore it you
don't need the key from there anyway (if you follow my directions). Go
back to the entrance and enter the other door on the right side of the room.
Kill all the enemies in this room to get a key. Go thru the door that
opened. Equip your Hvoer Boots, hover to the platform over to the left,
play the Song Of Time will facing the area where Navi turns green and 2
blue block will appear hove over onto them then climb up onto the brick wall
using the blue blocks to get a key. Turn to your left and hover over to
the switch, step on it, hover over to the platform in front of you then
hover over the blue blocks and use them to make your way to the silver rupee
in the upper corner of the room, and hover to another paltform before the
flames reappear. Collect all of teh other silver rupees (they are not heard
to get), go thru the door that is unblocked after collecting all of the
silver ruppees, play the Song Of Time in this room to get rid of all the
blue blocks. Put on your Iron Boots and sink down to the bottom, kill all
the clams. And collect all of the silver ruppees to make a chest appear,
float up and get the key from the chest. Exit this room, and in the lava
room enter the door in the alcove. Kill all the enemies in this room to get
some arrows now smash all of the statues with the Megaton Hammer to reveal
a switch and an eye step on the switch to make the fire around the chest
disapearr open that chest to get a key. Shoot the eye with an arrow to
unblock a new door, enter that door. Hover over to the platform that the
statues are one and shoot the first on with an arrow the go right and shoot
the eye there, and continue to go right shooting all of the statue's eyes.
to make a chest with a small key appear. Get the key. Go back to the
entrance room, enter the lion's mouth in the center of the room. TURN LEFT
in this room and open the locked door that's there (if you wnet right you'll
need the key that requires teh silver guantlets to get the Ice Magical
Arrows), now use your Lens Of Truth and look at the cieling you'll see a
hole in it. Climb up the fence that is to the left of the door you just
unlocked to go up thru the hole. Get the key from the chest that is there.
Now drop back down and open the doors with the keys you ahve gotten, to
get the Ice Magical Arrows from the big chest. Now exit here.
Gerudo Fortress:
Go to the gate that is in the lower left corner of the fortress
area climb up the ladder that is next to it. Talk to the woman there to
open up the gat enter the gate and continue forward to enter the Haunted
Wasteland.
Haunted Wasteland:
First, this is easier to do during the day so use the Sun's Song
to make it day if it is night. Follow the flags til you see a crate to
your right. Put on the Hover Boots, and walk over the quicksand (you won't
be sucked down as long as you keep pressing forward on the stick) once you
get past the quicksand, and start following teh flasgs again. Ignore the
sign that you see after the first 2 flags or so (the guy in teh shop sells
Bombchus for 200 rupees each...RIP OFF!) keep on following the flags til you
come to a stone fort. Enter the bottom of teh stone fort to find a gold
skulltula (he'll be there even if it is day) and light both of the torches
with Fire Arrows to get 50 ruppees. Anyway, after you've gotten the
treasure. Go back up to the outside turn right and walk along the wall of
the fort until you see a winding staurcase go up the staircase stand in
front of teh plaque and use your Lens Of Truth, follow the ghost in front
of you you can only see him with the Lens Of Truth. When he goes around
in circles keepon following him. He will eventually start to go straight,
you'll have to avoid some desert monsters, keep on follwoing him as he
goes straight adn you'll find yourself in Desert Colossus.
Desert Colossus:
First, right and look for a crack in the wall in between 2 palm
trees blow open the crack to find the 5th great fairy. Make it night with
the Sun's Song, go over by the sand pit (the pit's to the left) and play
the Song Of Storms will standing on the rock that Navi flys to and turns
green to reveal a fairy fountain. Now stand in the water of the fairy
fountain and look to the south, you should see a tree that is around the
water that has a gold skulltula on it, kill it and then enter the Spirit
Temple. Exit it, and talk to Sheik he will teach you the Requiem Of Spirit
now warp back to the Temple Of Time by playing the Prelude Of Light. Go
up to where you got the Master Sword and press a to put it back in the
pedestal, you will travel back in time 7 years. After you have sailed thru
time (as I like to call it) play the Requiem Of Spirit to warp back to
Desert Colossus and enter the Spirit Temple again...this time don't exit.
Spirit Temple (Young Link):
Go up the stairs and tunr left talk to the person there, when asked
what you want so nothing, really. And when asked if you are one of
Ganondorf's followers say I hate Ganondorf after she is thru yappin, crawl
thru the hole she was in front of, kill the bats and the statue and light
a Deku Stick with a torch go thru the right-hand door with the deku stick
and light both of the torches there. THen go back and go thru the other
door you will have to fight a Stalfos (scarier now, aren't they?), and also
a flamig skull stun it with your boomernag then shoot it with your
slingshot. Now throw your boomerang so it will go behind the fence and
hit the switch on it's wayt back (cool ain't it), the fence wil fall down
making a bridge, croos the bridge and go thru the next door. In this room
walk along the bridge until you are just before the spiked trap and use
Din's Fire to fry the guy (you can also lure them into the fire the appears
when you hit the switch. Go thru the next door. Open the chest here for
a key and collect all the silver ruppes to make a bridge go over the
bridge enter the door on the other side and your back in the first room.
This time crawl thru the hole in between the 2 torches. Go thru the
locked door, kill all the skulltulas and climb up the wall. At the top
you'll have to face 2 lizard men. You can hit the switch here for Bombchu,
and 5 rupees, kill the skulltulas on the wall. Aim a bombchu so it climbs
up the wall and hits the boulder thats up there. Enter the door that just
opened. Push the stone statue to your left (as soon as you enter here)
straight off of the platform onto the switch. Climb the stiars in front of
you to come to a torch light a deku stick with your torch and light both
of the torches in front of teh giant statue for the map. Go back to the
entrance by climbing up the wall (next to the statue you pushed earlier)
and go up the stairs going thru the door this time. Kill all the laser-eyes
in this room with bombchus to get all of the silver ruppees when you collect
them all and a torch will light in front of the entrance, light all the
torches withh a deku stick and a chest will appear open the chest for a key.
Now move teh blocks in this room so you can get to the block with the sun
symbol on it (the same symbol you saw in the room with the lizard men), pull
the Sun-Symbol into the light that is coming in from the window. Go thru
the door that opened and go up the stairs enter the locked door, and shoot
your slingshot at teh statue in the room and it will come alive. This guy
is called an Iron Knuckle (this boss is from Legend Of Zelda 2). He isn't
tough just Z-Target him get up to him and then backflip when he starts to
swing his axe. If he gets it embedded in the ground jump-slash him while he
is pulling it out, and repeat until he is dead. Go thru the door that
opened after you beat him, and you'll be outside after the Owl flys away
open the chest thats there. You'll get the Silver Guantlets. After the
story sequence warp back to the Temple Of Time, and then change back into
Adult Link then warp back to teh Spirit Temple and enter it again.
Spirit Temple (Adult Link):
Go up the stairs and this time turn left. And push the silver block
out of your way. In this room destroy the laser-eye with a bomb and shoot
the switch in the cieling with an arrow to open the 2 doors on either side.
Go thru the door on the left, kill the wolf. Play Zelda's Lullaby while
standing on top of the triforce symbol to make a chest appear, hookshot over
to the chest, and open it up for the compass. Go back to the room with the
switch in the cieling and go thru the other door. In this room collect all
of the silver ruppees, there are none behind the blue block. Use your hover
boots to get the one that is floating in the air in front of the entrance.
Enter teh door that opens after collecting all the rupees. And kill the
Shield-Eater that drops down from teh cieling. And get the key from the
chest. Go back to the switch-in-the-cieling room and open the locked door
and enter it. Watch out for the shield-eater that falls down from the
cieling in this hallway, and destroy all the gold skulltlas on the wall,
and climb up it. At the top watch out for the invisible-hand monster. Use
the Lens Of Truth to see it kill it. And grab the stick sitcking out of
either side of the mirror, and push it so it reflects on the 3rd sun symbol
from the left, enter the door that opens. Now your back in the giant statue
room, climb up the stairs and jump onto the statue's hand that has the
triforce symbol on it. Play Zelda's Lullaby to make a chest appear.
Hookshot over to the chest, and open it for a key. Climb up the stairs that
are in front of the door that you entered this room froom, and enter the
locked door up there kfry all of these guys with Din's Fire, kill the
laser-eyes, and go thru the door that opens after killing everything.
Ignore the statues and go to the right next to the barred door, shoot an
arrow at the statue farthest away from you and it will step on the switch as
it is coming towards you, enter the door that opens quickly. Go up the
stairs and fight another Iron Knuckle. AFter he is dead go thru the door
that opened top end up outside, and now you'll be on the opposite ledge
from where you got the Silver Guantlets as Young Link. And open the chest
that appears here for the Mirror Shield. Go back to the room with the 4
statues. Equip your Mirror shield and stand in the light in this room,
reflect the light with your mirror shield so it hits the sun symbol, the
door will open, enter it. Get the key from the chest in this room. And go
back to the room where the floating snake-like guys where and teh laser-eyes
where, open the locked door here. And in this room kill the 2 laser-eyes
and use your longshot to latch on to the highest strip since it doesn't
move and climb up the wall. Destroy the 2 laser-eyes here. Enter the next
door and play Zelda's Lullaby on the triforce symbol in the floor to open
the door in front of you enter it. Kill al the slugs, and blow up the
fake door that's left of the chest that's sorrounder by flame to reveal an
eye shoot the eye. And use your hookshot to pull yourself up on the ice
blocks near the cieling. Hop to thte switch and step on it. Drop down
and get the Boss Key from the chest, exit the room. Turn right and go thru
the door watch out for the flying pots and execute a spin salsh in front of
the grating to hit the switch and open the door ahead. Enter the door, kill
all of the baddies in this room, blow up the wall to the right of the statue
to reveal another room, push thte statue so the light shines down the new
passage, go down there and kill the baddies and push the statue so the light
shines back into the previous room, go back to the room with the flying pots
and drop down onto the floor and stand in the light then use your mirror
shield to reflect the light onto the sun suymbol and you'll be taken down
into a room with a face statue. Shine the light from the mirror above onto
the face of the statue long enough and the statue will crumble. Hookshot
over to the inside of it. And enter the boss's chamber. Watch the story
sequence and you'll have to fight anotehr Iron Knuckle, lost your axe there?
Beat him like the others, after Nabooru is spirited away by the witches,
head into the room tht opened and climb up onto the center platform and
go to the center of that platform to fight the Twin Sorceresses, Twinrova.
Twinrova:
Jump onto one of the side platforms and face the general direction
of the witches, and when one it's going to fire a magical spell defend with
your shield and the magic bolt will reflect, reflect teh bolt so it hits the
other sister flying around (if one starts hovering over your platform get to
another platform). After you have hit one of them 2 or 3 times, they'll
combine thier powers into a more powerful but quite beautiful Twinrova.
Jump to the main platform and Z-Target here and hold your shield out the
shield will absorb her magic attack after 3 of the same magic type are
absorbed they will fire back at her. When she goes down hookshot over to
her and start slashing here with your sword until she is dead. Be carefule
though, because if she fires a different magic than what you are absrobing
(say you have absorbed 2 fire blasts and then she fires an ice blast) GET
OUT OF THE WAY OF THE BLAST, otherwise you will lose 10 hearts. After the
quite funny death scene heh, heh. Grab your heart container one of the
4 side platforms and tep into the blue light.
Temple Of Time:
After the story sequence at the Temple Of Sages warp to the Temple
Of Time, Sheik will be there and he will reveal that you ahve the triforce
of courage, and that he actually is Princess Zelda (I could see that coming
a long time ago), and she (or he..whatever) has the triforce of Wisdom.
Gannon has the triforce of power. After she is done talking she will
explain the legend of the triforce and she will also explain what had
happened seven years ago. And then she wil give you the Light Arrows, which
are nesscessary to defeat Gannon. Then Gannon will kidnap her. Looks like
you have to go to Gannon's Castle.
Gannon's Castle:
As you walk up to Gannon's castle Rauru the sage will talk to you
and create a bridge for you to reach Gannon's Castle. Enter Gannon's
Castle. Go along the passage way and enter the door on the other end.
Enter the Shadow Barrier room, look to your left and hookshot over to the
chest. Now turn around and fire an Fre Magical Arrow ath the torch on the
other side now 3 ice blocks will appear run over to get to the next platform
after the shield eater. Now use your Lens Of Truth to see an invisible walk
way walk over it and run off the edge with your hover boots to hit the
switch. A chest will appear behind you. Hookshot and open it for the
Golden Gauntlets. Now take the left invisible path to a switch hit it with
your hammer and hookshot to the torch that's on the platform in front of you
enter the door there. Shoot the ball with a Light Arrow and dispel the
Shadow Barrier. You will be transported back to the entrance, now you can
exit the castle and get Double Defense if you'd like to. Anyway, now that
you ahve the golden gauntlets it doesn't matter which barriers you bring
down first or last. Head right from the shadow door and go into the Forest
Barrier (Green Medallion you can open up the Quest Status Subscreen to
compare). In the first room kill the wolf and use Din's Fire to light all
the torches, then look above the exit's doorway, there is a torch there
light it with a Fire Magical Arrow. And enter the door that opens (the one
right below the torch). Equip your hover boots in the next room. First,
wait until the fan to your left is going and then walk toward it to get the
silver rupee, then turn right and the fan will blow you to the next rupee.
Hover over onto the next platform with the switch on it and step on it.
Turn around and use your hookshot to get the ruppee on top of the column.
Kill the laser-eye in the center, hover over to its platform then across to
another rupee, then head back to the laser-eyes platform and hover to the
one rupee in front of the door, then go up next to the door and wait for
the fan on the right to stop blowing, then hover over and get the last
rupee with opens the door to the barrier, fire a Light Magical Arrow at
the ball, and you'll be transported back to the main room. Head right
and go into the next barrier (water barrier). Get some blue fire from the
torch use it to melt the ice covering the doorway and then go get 1 more
bottle full of blue fire (you'll see why in the next room). Find the 2
ice statues and kill them to unblock the door, go thru the door that
unblocked. In the new room push the block furthest from you back towards
the door so it will fall in the hole. THen push the other block right,
forward, left. Climb onto it and use the blue fire to melt the ice.
Smash the switch with the hammer, and go thru the door that unblocks and
destroy the ball with a Light Magical Arrow and you'll be back in the
main room. Enter the fire barrier door, (equip Hover Boots & Goron's Tunic)
Get all of the silver rupees in this room, lift the huge black rock with
the Golden Gauntlets and throw it so it reveals another one, and also makes
a platform for getting to another one. Enter the door that opens after
colecting them all, hookshot to the door. Destroy the ball in the next
room, and you'll be transported back to the entrance. Head right and move
the huge black rock with your silver gauntlets, and enter the Light room
(light barrier). Use the Lens Of Truth to kill the Big Skulltula and
the 4 bats sitting on the chests, and open the chest the Big Skulltula was
for a key, the chest to the right of the key chest has 15 arrows in it.
All the other chests hurt you, or have stupid prizes, enter the locked door.
Collect all the silver ruppees in this next room, and go into the next room
and the barrier is missing!...not really. Go thru the wall in front of you
to find the barrier, destroy it with a Light Magical Arrown and you'll be
transported back to the main room. On to the final door, the Spirit Barrier
collect silver ruppes in the first room and enter the door that unblocks,
kill the slugs in the next room, and use a bombchu to go up straight into
the hole in the fence and blow up the switch. Enter the door that unblocks
Go thru the door and fire an Fire Magical arrow at the cieling to let the
light it now shine the light onto the sun symbol just to the right of where
you entered. If you hit the wrong sun symbol a hand monster will appear on
the cieling so be careful. Enter the door that unblocks, and destroy the
ball with a Light Magical Arrow. Now you'll be transported back to the
main room and the barrier will be gone. Now is a good time to leave the
castle to stock up for the oncoming battle. Get at least 2 green potions,
or blue potions (buy blue potions from the old hag in the potion shop in
Kakariko Village for 200 rupees each), and have a full quiver of at least
40 arrows, and capture 2 fairys in the left-over 2 bottles. And re-enter
Gannon's Castle. Enter the door in the passageway, enter the doorway where
the barrier was. Go up the stairs and thru the door, here just kill all
the enemies to open the next door, enter the door. And you'll go thru
more stairs. About halfway up you'll find the Boss Key Chest sorrounded
by fire. Kill the 2 skeletal Stalfos for it (remember they can come back
to life), and get the boss key then continue, in the next room you'll have
to fight 2 Iron Knuckles. Just shoot an arrow at one and kill it, then
shoot another arrow at the other one and kill it. Once you have climbed
enough stairs you'll come to a room with tons of pots and a huge pillar in
the middle of the room, don't break any of the pots. Go thru the other
door and go thru a huge flight of stairs open the door at the end with the
Boss Key, and then a story sequence will play thru. Now you'll have to
fight Gannon.
Gannondorf Evil King Of Darkness:
Immediately put on your hover boots and run to one of the corners in the
room, and face Gannondorf when he fires a ball of energy at you deflect
it back at him, if he deflects it back just hit it back and forth until
it hit's him, then fire a Light Magical Arrow at him. Then use your
hookshot to get over to him when he lands then slash himwith your sword
til he gets back up, then repeat the process...not too hard. If you
fall off of your platform and back down to the room with the pots, use
your hookshot on the pillar to quickly back up and run back to the corner
you were at. If Gannondorf starts to gathe a hug black ball of energy
start charging a spin slash and when the balls get to you execute the
spin slash (it will go back and hit Gannondorf...GUARANTEED!) then just
hooskhot over to him and wail on him with your sword, and repeat, just
like before. Once you have damaged him enough he'll use his remaining
powers to destroy his castle and try to crush you in it.
Escape From Gannon's Castle:
Follow Zelda from a distance on the outside parts of his castle
or otherwise of you are close to her you won't half room to walk around
on the small walkway. When she gets to a door run up to it, and she
will open it. You will have 2 destroy 2 skeletal Stalfos in the room
where you got the Boss Key to free Zelda (remember they can come back to
life!). Watch out fore the zombie near the exit, once out of the castle
Gannon will pop out of the ruins of his castle and use the rest of the
Triforce's Power to become a huge hulking monster.
Gannon:
Z-Target Gannon's head and fire a Light Magical Arrow at it. When
it hits him run behind him to slash his tail and repeat until he falls
down (use the Biggoron's Sword for the job.) Then go and get the Master
Sword while the fire barrier is down. Then do the same thing you did as
before to Gannon. When he falls down this time, run up to his head and
start to slash him like crazy then a stroy sequence will go on in which
Gannon dies, and Gannondorf is sealed in the evil realm. CONGRATULATIONS!
YOU HAVE BEATEN THE EASIEST BOSS IN THE GAME, LOL! Anyways, watch the
ending sequence and listen to the good music (good? I think it is!). And
wait after the credits to see the scene of Princess Zelda and Young Link
meeting for the first time.
THE END!!!

T I P S & T R I C K S
============================================================================
1) Magic & Life Potion for 40 rupees: Use teh Requiem Of Spirit to warp to
the Desert Colossus, once you get there, look to your left you should see a
ring of stones. Go up to that ring of stones, and lift the big gray stone
next to it (using the Silver Guantlets) to reveal a hole. Drop down and
defeat the bush guys go up and talk to them and they will sell you Green
(Magic) potion, and Red (Life) Potion for 40 rupees each, 40 rupees is
quite a bargain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) You can use your hookshot on anything climbable to get up it faster.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) To get more distance out of a hover (from the Hover Boots) Roll attack
off a ledge with the hover boots on and take a few steps and roll attack
again to get more distance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) As young Link climb up to the top of the chains on the drawbridge at
Hyrule Castle Town. Then play the Sun's Song to make it night then walk
along the top of the drawbridge for 60 rupees.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) MEGA MONEY as Adult Link: After trading with the Kokiri Girl, go again
left one time of the entrance to the Lost Woods. Kill the skull kid there
as Adule Link, and he'll give you 200 rupees, you can do this over and
over.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Go back to Link's house after doing some of the games, and you'll see a
plaque in his house with the best Horseback Archery score, fastest marathon
time, and such.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Hit a chicken 3 times with your sword and it will summon it's buddies to
beat the crap out of you! If you run over a chicken twice while riding
Epona. The chicken will summon it's buddies, but they can't hurt you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Play Epona's Song for a cow and one of your bottles will get filled with
Lon Lon Milk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) As Adult Link if you beat Malon's Obstacle course under 50 seconds. You
will get your own cow you can get your own milk from it using the above
trick.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
10) You can sell fish, bugs, and blue fire. Find the person who looks like
there begging in Hyrule Market as Young Link, and Kakariko Village as Adult
Link. Z-Target him and equip a bottle witht he item in it and use it in
front of him and he wil buy it. 100 rupees for a fish, 50 for a bug, and
150 for some blue fire.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
11) If you use bugs on the soft soil, captrue one as soon as you let them
out and when you use the bug again 3 more will come out. You can use this
trick over and over again with out having to get more bugs ever again!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
12) Use the Lens Of Truth in the Treasure Chest Game in the market (as
Young Link) to cheat to see whats in the chest before you open it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
13) Mario Appearances: In the Castle Courtyard where you meet Princess Zelda
look into the windows on either sides to see portraits of Mario, Bowser,
Peach, and Luigi (bout time they included him in a game). Also look at
Malon's Brooch when you are adult link, or Talon's Brooch closelt it is a
Bowser Head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
14) Gossip Stones are rocks with the eye "that pierces into your mind".
Hit them with your sword and they will tell you what time it is, check them
out while wearing the Mask Of Truth and they will give you tips, play
Zelda's Lullaby for them and 3 fairies will pop out, play the Song Of Time
and they will give you 1 fairy. Play the Song Of Storms for them and they
will give you 1 big fairy, shoot them with an arrow (Adult) or with your
Slingshot (Young). Hit them with the Megaton Hammer and they will give you
flatten. Blow them up with a bomb and they will rocket off into space (or
explode on the cieling. Hit them with a Magical Fire Arrow and they will
spin around.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
15) If you have played the second Zelda game, you will notice that Nintendo
borrowed names from that game and put them into this game. Saria Town
(Saria), Darunia Town (Darunia), Nabooru Town (Nabooru), Ruto Town (Ruto),
Rauru Town (Rauru), Mido Town (Mido). This was done in my opinon to give
the 2nd Zelda Game some recognition (because many people said the second
Zelda game lacked the spark of the original).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
16) If you find a secret using the Stone Of Agony and a bomb doesn't work
play the Song Of Storms, if that doesn't work use the Megatom hammer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
17) In the fishing game there is a sinker lure. Just walk or swim around
til you bump into it, catch a record breaking fish with it and the owner
will say you used an illgeal lure then go look at the fish in the tank and
then talk to the owner and say "Let's Talk About Something" and he will
make it legal to use the lure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
18) There is a secret fish in the fishing game called the Hyrule Loach it
looks like an eel. Cast in the reeds and lillypads when it is dawn. You
can look for it by using the Iron boots, it can be very large (to 30
pounds!) but you will only get rupees for it and it is thrown back in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
19) In the fishing game try to hook the pond owner's hat. And then try
fishing with it it will sink to the bottom. And he will charge you 50
rupees for it and it will stay down there and he won't have a hat for the
rest of the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
20) Once again in the fishing game you can fish while standing underwater.
You need to have found the sinking lure in your current session. Put on
the Hover Boots and run out into the water and cast your line before you
sink you will keep on running and you wil fall in over your head then
put on the Iron Boots.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
21) Get a butterfly to land on a Deku Sitck and it will turn into a fairy.
Just walk near it with a stick in your hands and be patient.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
22) Play the Song Of Storms for a seedling (from a Magic Bean) as Young Link
and it will grow up and sit out 3 fairies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
23) Kill enemies with Light Magical Arrows and you will get good prizes from
the Arrows when they hit the wall. On example, kill a fire bat with a Light
Magical Arrow, and when the arrow hits the wall it will drop 50 rupees!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
24) Play the Song Of Storms when Navi turns green to summon a big fairy. If
that doesn't work try playing the Sun's Song.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
25) Cause & Effect-Many things you do as Young Link, will effect the future
look at the Composer in the windmill in Kakariko Village as Young Link, then
look at his face as Adult Link...EEEEAAAGHHH! The magic beans are also a
example of cause and effect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
26) If you lose your fish in the fishing game, try to recover it in the
reeds. And if it breaks from you again go to where it was before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
27) If you kill enough Skeletons on the Hyrule Field at night as Young Link
(the skeletons are called Stalchilds) and you'll fight a huge skeleton. It
is the same to beat him he gives you better prizes though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
28) After you complete Young Link's Trading Sequence, you can get a Zora
Mask, Gerudo Mask, and a Goron Mask. Wear the goron mask, in front of
Gorons, wear any mask in front of the man in front of the first tree in
Kakariko Village, wear a Zora Mask in front of Princess Ruto, wear the
Gerudo Mask in fronr of some people in Hyrule Castle Town (some men will
think your a woman, others will think you are their mother), wear a lot
of different masks in front of a lot of differnt people, and watch the
reactions you get!
