Fight Guide A guide to the many fights, (I do mean many) that are in DragonBall Z. This page will be updated weekly with 10 more additions each week, until it's complete. The fights are listed in order of importance only main character battles (no petty 3-second fights or fighting dinosaurs). Maintained by VegetaMac Info courtesy of Pojo's ~ Radditz vs. Goku&Piccolo: This was the first actual fight that took place in the series. Radditz is Goku's brother and he is also very strong compared to Goku. Although when Goku and Piccolo team up to beat Radditz, their much stronger. There was a lot at stake because Radditz kidnapped Gohan plus he tried to claim earth. In the end Piccolo used his special beam cannon attack the killed Radditz, but also Goku who was holding Radditz. ~Tien vs. Saibaman: In this fight Tien squared off against one of Vegeta's Saibaman. Within in a few swift attacks Tien beats him. ~Yamucha vs. Saibaman: I thought this fight was gay because it was clearly obvious that Yamucha could beat the Saibaman. Turns out when Yamucha let his guard down the Sabiaman grabbed him and self destructed, killing both of them. ~Krilin vs. Saibamen: Boy this was great, Krillin is outraged that Yamucha was killed and just goes wild. He creates this large energy that kills all the Saibaman in one shot. One survived, but Piccolo took care of him. ~Tien vs. Nappa: This is one of Tien's greatest moments after seeing Chatzou self destruct to kill Nappa and it didn't work, he went all out on Nappa. He ends up getting his hand cut off and in one last effort forms an energy blast. The blast was ineffective and Tien died. ~Piccolo vs. Nappa: After a few hits and misses Nappa decided to go after the scared Gohan with an energy attack. Piccolo gave his life to save Gohan. ~Goku vs. Nappa: Goku finally shows up after being wished back earlier to help, but everyone except Gohan and Krillin are dead. Goku basically makes a fool of Nappa and for losing to Goku, Nappa was killed by Vegeta. ~Goku vs. Vegeta: This is one of the most important battles throughout the series. I sure you all know how it goes down. So to make it short Vegeta and Goku both get beat down, but in the end with a little help from Gohan, Krillin, and even Yajarobie Goku won. Although Vegeta was not killed, Goku told Krillin to spare him. This will pay off later. ~Vegeta vs. Kuwi~: This fight takes place on namek during the big search for the dragonballs. After Kuwi uses his scouter to detect Vegeta's power level he gets overconfident. Since Vegeta learned how to hide his power, he easily killed Kuwi with one blast. ~Dodoria and Zarbon vs. some nameks~: Basically Dodoria and Zarbon beat up on some nameks who tried to stop Freiza from getting the Dragonballs. ~Vegeta vs. Dodoria~: Dodoria eyes Vegeta and also thinks he is weak until Vegeta almost breaks his arms off. Vegeta made Dodoria squeal and tell him the truth about Planet Vegeta. Vegeta still kills him though. ~ Zarbon vs. Vegeta~: Zarbon is all that much stronger than Vegeta in his normal form. When Zarbon transforms into his alligator looking form he rips Vegeta a new butthole. ~Zarbon vs. Vegeta Pt.2~: This is the second time that the two fight. After Vegeta was healed in the rejuvenation tank back at Freiza's ship. Vegeta shows Zarbon that a Saiyan gets stronger after every fight, by blowing a hole inside Zarbon with a well placed punch. ~Krillin and Gohan vs. Guldo: It's obvious that Gohan and Krillin and stronger than Guldo due to Guru releasing their inner strength. The only reason Gohan and Krillin don't kill Guldo quick is because Guldo can freeze time. Guldo traps the two in a mind trap and shoots a tree at the two. Luckily Vegeta steps in and cuts off Guldo's head. He only did it because he had his own beef with Guldo. ~Vegeta vs. Recoom: As always Vegeta goes all out on Recoom and does well, but Recoom is just too strong for Vegeta. As Recoom sets up his ultimate attack, but Krillin saves him by kicking Recoom and Gohan grabs Vegeta. ~Gohan vs. Recoom: Gohan decided to try his hand at Recoom. Gohan tried his hardest, but in the end Recoom was just too much. Before Recoom could finish Gohan off Goku arrived. ~Goku vs. Recoom: This wasn't really much of a fight, but none the less with one quick punch Goku took out Recoom. Vegeta later killed Recoom. ~Goku vs. Burter&Jeice: Burter&Jeice is no match for Goku's incredible speed. Burter is knocked out and Jeice flies off. Vegeta later killed Burter. ~Goku vs. Ginyu: Ginyu doesn't realize how strong Goku really is until Goku powers up to well over 180,000. Ginyu gets concern and tries attacking, but does nothing. So Ginyu deliberately injures himself and uses his body switch technique on Goku. Now Ginyu is in Goku's body and Goku's is in Ginyu's! ~Freeza vs. Nail: Nail is basically trying to distract Freeza and his does well by getting his arse whooped. When Freeza realizes what's going on he leaves Nail to die. ~Vegeta vs. Jeice: Vegeta just takes Jeice to school and blasts him away. ~Ginyu (in Goku's body) vs. Gohan&Krillin: Ginyu is fighting the two and not doing well. He doesn't really know how to work use Goku's body. Gohan and Krillin are able to hold off Ginyu. Ginyu ends up again in his old body and then he then tries to enter Vegeta's body, but a frog is thrown in the way. ~Freeza vs. Krillin/Gohan/Vegeta: These weren't really fights, these were small attacks made by each character against Freeza. Mainly to hold him off until Goku was finished healing. The three actually did well, especially, Gohan when he thought Freeza killed Krillin. Also, Freeza knocked Vegeta around a bit. ~Piccolo (newly fused with Nail) vs. Freeza form 2: Piccolo had been wished backed and just fused with Nail on Namek and made his way to fight Freeza. This fight was way cool because Piccolo was so confident that he could beat Freeza alone. It was clear the Piccolo had the upper hand when fighting Freeza. Vegeta then wasn't even as strong as Piccolo was. Piccolo had been winning until Freeza changed forms. ~Piccolo vs. Freeza form 3: This form was quite ugly I'd say. Freeza was very strong and defeated Piccolo easily, although he didn't kill him. Freeza only stayed in this form for a while, mainly to beat Piccolo then he transformed to his ultimate form. ~Vegeta vs. Freeza final form: Vegeta, thinking he is a super saiyan goes all out on Freeza, but just wasn't enough and he was brutally beaten by Freeza. ~Goku vs. Freeza: Since this fight is extremely long, here are the main points. Goku comes to the battlefield to see everyone barely alive. Vegeta has this moment where he points on how Freeza has controlled his life. Freeza then kills Vegeta. Goku steps in and him and Freeza fight. Eventually Goku has to form a spirit bomb. Piccolo helps distract Freeza while Goku forms the ball. Goku fires the bomb at Freeza; the crew begins to relax. When Freeza appears and shoots a beam at Goku that Piccolo jumps in front of. Then Freeza uses this attack that kills Krillin. That pushes Goku over the edge and he finally goes SSJ. With that the fights goes into super fight. Goku is in charge of pretty much the rest of the fight. Freeza ends up cutting himself in half with his own attack that was meant for Goku. Goku gives Freeza some energy to escape the planet before it blows up. Instead Freeza used the remaining energy to fire a beam at Goku which caused Goku to take Freeza out for good.
