A sad truth is the Christianity that originated at Pentecost 2000 years ago has almost totally degenerated into an Americanized and commercialized hodgepodge of self-anointed and self-serving community of man-biased clergymen who call themselves everything from preacher thru pastor, evangelist, reverend, priest, father or by their own given name when they don't want to be identified with Christ's church.

The American clergy, to my knowledge, in the last 65 years has been and is now even more saturated with wife stealers, adulterers, homosexuals, tax evaders, rip-off artists, liars (big time) and outright thieves. I even know of one clergyman who was murdered in a motel room in Odessa, Tx. for his shady dealings. I find it more and more difficult to have any trust in those who call themselves "men of God."

TV evangelists from the East Coast to the West Coast are taking gifts and offerings in the name of God and converting it to their own personal use for everything from deceptive jet plane flights, in the guise of God's work, to South Africa to buy gold and diamond mines to the buying and breeding of expensive thoroughbred horses for showing and racing in California. All or most of whom are wearing $750 exotic animal skin shoes or boots and $1,000 tailor made suits, which they say are the blessings of God. Well, fellows, N. is here writing to tell you he no longer believes you. And to which I add, God willing, I will continue to write until most don't believe you. Hiding behind God's word no longer hacks it.

When a banker violates the public's trust by converting their money to his own personal use, it is called embezzlement, which is a felony crime punishable by imprisonment - sometimes. I say sometimes because some embezzlers are stupid and only embezzle small amounts of money for which they always get caught and spend time in the Big House. Those who embezzle millions get out of the country and live lavishly until the statute of limitations runs on their crime, or they stay home and spend a few bucks on snail darter preservation for which they receive a pardon for their humanitarian services. "Hey, N., have you no sense of decency left? That's the American way, bless God." - Another sad truth!

When any preacher or any clergyman who is hired for a salary and benefits violates the congregational church's trust and through some means causes all the leadership of the church, who hired them, to surrender their authority (ordained of God) to their control for their sole use and then quotes God's Word to justify their thievery as the will of God, I say, they are liars and I do not or I can not believe or trust them. Neither can I believe or trust those who support them.
