Truth Hiders and Hoarders

Matthew 21: 12, "And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves," seems to me an expression of perfect love losing its cool. This verse may be the most often quoted to demonstrate that Jesus is not only perfect love but is also a warrior or a man of war. Typically, the preachers or evangelists who quote this verse do so after they themselves have lost their cool, for no well founded reason or reasons during regular Sunday morning worship hour.
Truth is, Jesus was a man of war. He, too, was an excellent General of the Armies. He knew the purpose of war, destroy the enemy, and He focused on that. Result? No loss of His troops - brothers, sisters, children. Jesus was a man of war but He never abused His children or His family. I wish every abusive and Christian-buying preacher, evangelist, pastor and priest in the world could get this simple message through their materialistic skulls:
Would you believe there are present day "mall of war" preacher-evangelists who are capable of walking into your house of worship and finding no buying or selling, no moneychangers, no seats or tables to throw out, would instead throw out them that had built the house and come there to thank Him, to praise Him, to adore Him and to glorify Him? Couldn't happen? Wrong! Would you believe that many of today's high tech, all knowing, pontificating, man of war preacher evangelists cannot discern the difference between God's enemies and His allies? You don't? Wrong again!
Have a good week!
