Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao fair

Chao Mae Lim Ko Miao, a deity believed to be endowed with powerful magic is highly respected in the south of thailand. Each year, afair is held to pay homage to her, which also includes ascetics performing extraordinary feats of endurance. Straw Bird Fair 
February 2000  Chai Nat Bird Park, Chai Nat

A plentiful by-product of rice farming, straw is used by local villagers to create huge colourful straw birds representing the numerous species that inhabit the Chai Nat Bird Park. The straw birds are displayed on elaborately decorated floats at the fair. Local handicrafts and delectable cuisine are also available to tempt visitors.

Nakhon Pathom food & Fruit Fair

One of Thailand's largest Buddhist monuments, the 127 - metre high Phra Pathom Chedi is the site of this fair featuring a wide range of fruits that are grown in this province. Contests of food products, sales and demonstrations of local handicrafts, as well as cultural performances and tourism activities can be seen and experienced.

Lampang's annual Elephant Satoke Fair

Elephants are a revered animal in Thailand, as such the Thai Elephants Conservation Centre was established to help preserve these majestic creatures. Every year, an Elephant Fair is conducted and the Centre organises a Khantoke, a Proceeds from the event help support the food for the elephant fund and elephant conservation projects. the fair also features a spectacular northern style procession as well as typical northern cultural shows and music.

King Pama II Memorial Park Fair

In memory of Thailand's poet King Rama II ( 1809-1824 ), a fair is held displaying the unique culinary and handicraft works of the local people. Phra Nakhon Khiri Fair

King Narai Reign Fair

During the reign of King Narai the Great of Ayutthaya
( 1656 -1688 ), diplomatic relations were encouraged between Siam, as Thailand was known then, and various European nations. this fair, centred at the ruins of King Narai's palace, commemorates the king and features spectacular processions, a light and sound show, folk entertainment and sales of local products.

Magha Puja

This improtant Buddhist holy day marks the auspicious accasion when 1,250 of Lord Buddha's adherents spontaneously congregated to hear him give a sermon. Merit-marking ceremonies are held during the day at temples throughout the country, while at night, triple candlelit circumambulations are staged around najor temples.

Thai Folk sports Festival
