Tumeric are a small root and has a bright
orange in colour. They are look similar as ginger. They need to removed the
skin before using. They are used for their colour when making curry pastes and
can also used for fish dishes to take away the smell of the fish.
It can kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks or it can also
be frozen.
Tomeric powder can be used as a substitutes.
