It has a oval same as rugby ball shape and has a thick, spiky shell.  The shell should be removed by pinching open it and inside has the yellow succulent flesh , creamy and butter rich taste.  They are banned from hotel and airplane because of the strong aroma reason.

Durian is " The king of Thai fruit "  and very popular in Thailand.  It should be eaten mangosteen afterward for well digestion. 

Durian season and the best for tasting is from May to August.
