The History of the1965 INDIA-PAKISTAN WAR

During its short history, Pakistan has tried unsucessfully on four occasions in 1947, 1965, 1971 and 1999 to militarily occupy the Indian state of Kashmir citing religion as its reason for starting these wars. These conflicts have left Pakistan defeated, impoverished and split into two after East Pakistan sought Indian assistance in 1971 to break away from oppressive genocidal rule to form the new nation Bangladesh.

The pdf file linked from this page has pages scanned from a booklet printed in 1965 recording the history of the 1965 India-Pakistan conflict and the events leading upto this war. The booklet is called "India Answers Pakistan" and was written by B.G Verghese, and published by the Times of India, and cost all of 1 Rupee in 1965. The original booklet is falling to pieces, and the pages have been scanned for posterity.

The 32 pages of text make fascinating reading and form and important historical document. and reveal how the pan-islamist expansionist desires of military dictators in Pakistan supported by unconditional arms aid from abroad without any thought for human development have led to Pakistan becoming what it is today - a failed state nominally led by a shaky military dictatorship in a nuclear armed nation that is the epicenter of worldwide terrorism
