  • Education?: I have an English BA. Some graduate school.
  • Job?: I currently have one full-time job.
  • Dream Job?: Dream of working? ha.. I don't have a dream job.. I dream of not having to work. However I used to think I'd like to teach English, Linguistics, Literature, creative writing, either to high school or college students. I'd also like teaching woman's studies and multicultural Literature. I can see writing a book, perhaps an autobiography but something definitely nonfiction. I can see me writing for a newspaper.

I read mostly nonfiction feminist books, cultural studies, and religious studies. I enjoy riding my bicylce with my daughter. Swimming. Creating webpages. Going to the movies.

  • What are you most thankful for this year?: 2004. Well the year started out with a few bangs. I've been faced with needing to help my family a lot. I'm blessed I've had the means to pull everyone who has needed help through their difficult times.
  • Memory you miss the most?: During my college years (ya I'm old), I signed up for a memory course. At the time, I was thinking about majoring in nursing and I thought a memory class would help me to study all the necessary medical terms and such. I forgot to go!!! Classic, huh?
  • If you could have anything, anything at all what would it be? Not to sound greedy, or unappreciative of what I have, but I would like a good husband for all the obvious reasons a woman likes a man around, heh
  • Are you political?: I'm democrat. Those online political tests say I'm pretty darn liberal. *shrugs*
  • What do you love the most about that special person in your life?: I don't have "that special person" in my life, however if I did I'd have to say what I would love most is the respect, loyalty, consideration, honesty and the passion we have for one another (qualities that we dont let anyone come in between).

  • Favorite concert(s) you've been to?: I've only been to three concerts. When I lived in Hollywood, as a teenager, I went and saw Digital Underground and Shabba Ranks at the Hollywood Palladium. I also saw Warrant "Cherrie Pie". Ok thats a bit embarrassing LOL.. I only went because my friend Martine went to Shabba Ranks with me (and no Shabba doesnt embarrass me.. I loved the Reggae LOL)

I'd like to visit Spain, Scotland, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Albania (if I could go with Nick) even just some places right here in the US like Santa Fe and Albuquerque New Mexico, Chicago IL, NY, Hawaii, Maryland and Durham NC ;)

  • Favorite thing to do on the weekend?: Nothing at all. Maybe visit with a friend or family..maybe the club on Saturday but usually just nothing. Most of my weekend is spent doing chores, cleaning. Shopping at Walmart. I'm pretty much at the mercy of my child and what she wants to do ;) Reading at the park, bowling, bookstore, going to the river in the summer.
  • What's the sweetest thing someone has ever done for you?: Probably when my friend drove me to hospital and sat with me before my surgury. He also watched the children in my home based childcare during most of my pre and post operation doctor's visits.
  • Where do you want to get married?: Vegas, maybe an Elvis wedding (I had this dream.) haha. Seriously, maybe a beach wedding.

  • Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: In 10 years my daughter will be 17 and I'll be in the hellish teenage years.. I'll probably be working my ass off trying to provide with college money for her. Married with more kids. Just plain enjoying life. (Inshallah)

  • Do you type with your fingers on the right keys?: Absolutely. I chat too much not to know how to type. Plus I took typing in high school, so I long ago learned to type properly, without looking down.
